The property

6 Knowle Court is located on Knowle Road and is approximately a fifteen-minute downhill walk to Salcombe’s town and waterfront and its array of boutique shops, pubs and restaurants.

A number of stone steps lead up from the off road parking area to a covered entrance and hallway which feature a stunning glass staircase leading to the second floor.

The cleverly designed open-plan living space has a sitting area with two double sofas, widescreen TV and a feature wood-burning stove.

Meanwhile the superb, gloss kitchen has a breakfast bar, black granite worktops, modern appliances and even a wine cooler.

On the first floor is a stylish, nautical twin room with wooden-framed single beds, storage and a TV meanwhile there is a small, adjacent single room which is ideally suited to one child.

On the second floor is an open plan en suite master bedroom has been built into the eaves of the house with a super King-size bed, TV and a contemporary freestanding bath in the corner of the room.

In addition to the en suite, there is a family shower room on the lower floor.

To the rear of the property and accessed via steep stone steps is an area of sloping lawn.

There is off road parking on the drive for one car. From this superb location, visit the nearby sandy beaches of East Portlemouth, North Sands and South Sands, or explore the South West Coast Path on foot.

Kingsbridge 7 miles; Dartmouth 21 miles; Plymouth 24 miles; Paignton 26 miles.

Salcombe is a popular destination for walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea and was once a major port. There are two pretty beaches within a short distance, North Sands and South Sands and further on is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe you must take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking, including the South West Coast path.
