The property

Located on Knowle Road and only a fifteen-minute downhill walk to Salcombe’s town, waterfront and its array of boutique shops, pubs and restaurants, 6 Knowle Court is a recently refurbished duplex apartment which has been tastefully furnished in a nautical style to a high standard throughout.

From the off-road parking area, a flight of stone steps lead up to the apartment’s covered entrance and hallway which house a stunning glass staircase leading up to the second floor.

The living space has been cleverly designed in an open-plan style.

The sitting area has two double sofas, a widescreen TV and a feature wood-burning stove for cosy nights in.

6 Knowle Court has a refurbished gloss kitchen with a breakfast bar, black granite worktops, modern appliances and even a wine cooler.

A stylish, nautical décor runs throughout this property and on the first floor is a comfortable twin room with wooden-framed single beds, storage and a TV.

A small single bedroom is adjacent to this room and is ideally suited to a young child.

The master bedroom is located on the second floor and has been cleverly built into the eaves.

It has a super-King-size bed, television and a statement freestanding bath in the corner of the room.

To cater for the other bedrooms a family shower room is on the lower floor.

Located outside the property and at the end of a steep set of stone steps is a green sloping lawn Ideal for a coastal break, visit the nearby sandy beaches of East Portlemouth, North Sands and South Sands, or explore the South West Coast Path on foot.

SALCOMBE

Kingsbridge 7 miles; Dartmouth 21 miles; Plymouth 24 miles; Paignton 26 miles.

Salcombe is a popular destination for walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea and was once a major port. There are two pretty beaches within a short distance, North Sands and South Sands and further on is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe you must take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking, including the South West Coast path.

Outside areas not suitable for young children due to sloping nature of garden and steep stone steps. Sloping drive is steep. For safety reasons children under 5 years of age should be supervised at all times. Third bedroom for children only.
