    “No. 7 is a good studio in a fabulous location at The Salcombe apartments.”

    A parking place is a massive plus point, & being on the garden level with use of the private pontoon was great for us for Kayaking & also the communal storage facility for storing it. The studio is well equipped with everything that you need, the only thing that it is lacking is a little plug in hob - we took our own with us with a couple of pans after reading a previous review pointing this out. We found the bed very comfortable & the shower room perfectly functional. I did drop something ...

The studio is well equipped with everything that you need, the only thing that it is lacking is a little plug in hob - we took our own with us with a couple of pans after reading a previous review pointing this out. We found the bed very comfortable & the shower room perfectly functional. I did drop something onto the floor & had to pick it up as had rolled under the bed; a note for the cleaning team - it needs all needs pulling out & a good hoover under there! Also a couple of surface spots of mildew around the patio doors are starting to appear as it seems to get condensation during the cooler weather. Nothing that can't be cleaned & sorted very easily & it certainly wouldn't stop me from staying there again.

7 The Salcombe, the perfect retreat for 2 is a small but stylish ground floor garden studio flat in ‘The Salcombe’ building, on the beautiful waterfront in central Salcombe.

‘The Salcombe’ apartments are situated in a highly-sought after location with magnificent views of the main anchorage, towards South Pool.

Each flat has an allocated parking space and mooring, and all guests have use of the heated swimming pool (seasonal) and lovely communal gardens. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle, a wonderful retreat providing privacy yet with amenities of The Salcombe and the town for you to pop in and out.

This modern studio flat has a delightful bedroom area with a King-size bed ensuring a comfortable stay with a compact ensuite shower room, sleek units, sliding wardrobe and TV, as well as a small sink with mirror and shaver socket.

A wonderful sunroom/kitchenette boasts beautiful estuary views and has a charming sitting area with two chairs, table and flatscreen TV.

The kitchen area has an integrated fridge with icebox, microwave combi oven, kettle, toaster and wall units.

Patio doors slide out to the communal gardens.

This central location with designated parking and pontoon mooring is a special little find and perfect for exploring Salcombe’s sandy beaches, popular restaurants and boutique shops.

SALCOMBE

Kingsbridge 7 miles; Dartmouth 21 miles; Plymouth 24 miles; Paignton 26 miles.

Salcombe is a popular destination for walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea and was once a major port. There are two pretty beaches within a short distance, North Sands and South Sands and further on is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe you must take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking, including the South West Coast path.

The Salcombe residents enjoy exclusive use of the private outdoor heated swimming pool which is normally available from 29th April to late September each year (subject to change).

Wifi provided is communal for residents of The Salcombe Apartments.

Allocated parking space for ONE car only.

Electric car charging is not available or permitted at The Salcombe.

Pontoons to be removed for the winter in November - Moorings will not be available during this time.
