The famous harbour and estuary, popular with sailors and other watersports enthusiasts, is very close by, whilst the beautiful beaches of East Portlemouth and Millbay can be accessed via a small passenger ferry that runs from the town all year round.
From the second floor bedroom there is a good view across Gould Road and Island Street towards Batson Creek and Snapes Point beyond.
From Shadycombe Road the front entrance leads directly into the sitting room.
There is further access to the rear (via the courtyard) up a few steps into the kitchen.

On the second floor (built into the eaves) is a delightful second bedroom with double bed, and glimpses of Batson Creek and its resident boats, and Snapes Point.
On the first floor is a newly refurbished family bathroom with bath, shower (over), wash-hand basin, w.c., and heated towel rail.
Outside is a small courtyard with a bistro table and chairs.
From the courtyard, a narrow stone path leads to a small decked terrace with bistro table, bench and two chairs, as well as a small garden with mature shrubs and a delightful olive tree.
