The bed in the master room was a little too hard for our liking, but this is personal preference. The views were absolutely amazing. Although the details on the website state that this property is up a steep hill, be aware that this is a very long, steep hill (or a shortcut of 212 steep steps in to town). People who are not reasonably fit may find that they end up driving in to town so that they don't have to walk up the steps or hill back to the property.

It was pleasing to hear that you loved the views from this superb house and had an enjoyable stay.  Your valuable feedback regarding the missing plates, bed and location of the accommodation, have been noted.    We've checked the website description and it says as follows: 'The property is on Herbert Road, approximately 10-15 minutes downhill walk (steep in places) to Salcombe town centre'.  We always try to ensure that guests' individual needs are taken into consideration when selecting a suitable property and, following on from your comments, we have also added a warning to our booking system to provide extra clarification for guests.    Thanks again, for your valuable comments, we do hope you will choose to return to Salcombe again in the not too distant future.   Owner relations
