The property

Leylands is a delightful late Victorian terraced house built for a sea captain, in a beautiful position in popular Salcombe.

The property, which has been sympathetically renovated and furnished to a very high standard in recent years, has magnificent views of the harbour towards South Pool Creek and East Portlemouth, and is just a few minutes’ walk from the town centre and waterfront. Arranged over two floors, the property is well equipped with baby/child friendly facilities, and with multiple living areas, it is excellent for those with older children who may want their own space.

The open-plan kitchen/dining room is beautifully presented and equipped to a very high standard.

There is also a delightful lounge with picture bay window offering an excellent view of the estuary, as well as a cosy second sitting room with two large sofas and an additional TV.

Shower room on ground floor. There are four first floor bedrooms: A master with wonderful estuary views, a King-size double bed and en suite with shower, a twin room with two single beds, a further double with a 4'6" bed, and finally a child’s bedroom with a set of bunk beds.

In addition there is a recently renovated family bathroom on the first floor, and on the ground floor is a shower room.

To the rear of the house is a sloping garden and furnished sunny terrace, complete with a barbecue.

A parking pass is provided for one car in the nearby long-stay car park (5-7 minutes’ walk).
