The property

Lower Terrapins is a beautifully presented two storey apartment situated towards the end of Buckley Street within easy access of Salcombe's famous waterfront.

From Buckley Street the main entrance leads into a spacious hallway, where there is a cloakroom with w.c.

and hand basin.

Stairs lead up from the hallway to the first-floor bedrooms and bathroom. Double doors lead into a spacious and very comfortably furnished sitting/dining area with two double sofas, armchair, Smart TV and French doors to the front terrace.

The attractive dining area has a wooden table with six rattan chairs.

To the rear of the apartment is a modern, fully fitted kitchen with a range of floor and wall units, gas hob, double oven, integrated fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and breakfast bar with four stools.

A comfy sofa is tucked into a recess.

Separate utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer.

French doors lead out from the kitchen to a small terrace, with steps up to the rear courtyard and access to Church Street.

Three bedrooms (all on the upper floor).

The master bedroom has a double bed, fitted wardrobes and en suite bathroom comprising shower, w.c.

and basin.

Bedroom two has a King-size bed and fitted wardrobes; whilst the third bedroom has two single beds and built-in wardrobes.

The family bathroom is situated on the first floor with bath, separate shower, w.c and wash-hand basin. Outside, to the front, is a walled paved garden with furniture, whilst to the rear is a small terrace with table and chairs.

Salcombe is a popular destination for walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea and was once a major port. There are two pretty beaches within a short distance, North Sands and South Sands and further on is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe you must take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking, including the South West Coast path.
