For families to gather and spend quality time together, Mudlark, a charming three-bedroom house in Salcombe, Devon, is the ideal destination.

The property has everything you need for your stay, with it's rustic design, vaulted ceilings, lovely views of the town, and neutral colours throughout.

Park in the off-road parking space then enter into the front courtyard area to relax with a cup of tea while enjoying the sunshine.

The kitchen/diner features slate floors and includes a microwave, refrigerator/freezer, electric 'Everhot' oven and hob, as well as a spacious dining space.

Go upstairs to find the bright, airy sitting area with a smart TV and a cosy corner sofa.

A sunny patio with chairs for enjoying the views and a BBQ is accessible through French doors.

Additional steps lead up to the second terrace and a small lawned area.

As dusk falls, retire inside and make your choice from one of the well-appointed bedrooms.

Awaken in the morning with a shower or a relaxing bath, then set out on foot to one of the many cafes, shops, or pubs around to get your day started.

Salcombe is a wonderful holiday spot where you may take pleasure in strolling along the stunning coastline, discovering the many gardens and unrivalled beaches or taking a boat ride from the harbour.

Visit the town of Kingsbridge, which has a number of eateries and taverns as well as it's pretty estuary.

The nearby villages of Hope Cove, Thurlestone and Bigbury are a short drive away and ofer yet more beautiful sandy beaches.

Mudlark makes a wonderful base for exploring Salcombe.

Salcombe is a popular destination for walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea and was once a major port. There are two pretty beaches within a short distance, North Sands and South Sands and further on is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe you must take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking, including the South West Coast path.
