“A very very good property which we loved, possible the best we have had in Salcombe & we would 100% come back.”

The owners have done a great job with the property. I feel it is only far to say however, it does get very noisy at night until as late as 1 or 2 in the morning & that will not appeal to some people.

Hi and thank you for your feedback. Delighted you felt so positive about the flat and of course, we'll be thrilled to have you back. Yes, we accept in high season there can be a degree of noise from outside given the very central location on Fore Street next to and opposite two popular pubs. With the double glazed windows shut, pretty much all "noise" disappears though naturally with summer heat, it's often preferable to keep some windows open for ventilation. Thanks again; any feedback is valuable. Property Owner

The property

Normandy Watch is a luxury two-storey duplex apartment, located in the heart of Salcombe, with lovely views across Whitestrand and the estuary beyond.

Located on Fore Street, the property has quick access to town's boutique shops, pubs and restaurants as well as its beautiful harbour and stunning waterfront.

A secure gate at street level opens to a flight of stone steps which lead into the property.

The property has an elegantly presented kitchen with a glass topped breakfast table seating four.

The utility room houses a washing machine and tumble dryer.

The bright open plan sitting/dining room has two double sofas, a coffee table, LG Smart TV and contemporary wood-burning stove.

The dining table seats six comfortably and from the large picture window there are excellent views of the harbour.

There are three bedrooms in total with the master featuring a King-size bed, plenty of storage and enviable estuary views.

The adjacent twin room has two wooden framed single beds, plenty of storage and decent views over Whitestrand, whilst the third bedroom has a King-size bed with fitted wardrobes and chest of drawers.

There is a shower room on the lower level with w.c., wash-hand basin and heated towel rail, whilst on the top floor is a family bathroom with bath and shower (over).

To the side of the property is a superb terrace balcony with glass railings.

The deceptively spacious accommodation is ideally suited to couples or families – with or without a dog - and has the additional benefit of a terrace, ideal for al fresco dining!

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £200.
