The property

Resting on the banks of the endearing Kingsbridge Estuary within the popular resort town of Salcombe, is this wonderful terraced property.

Old Walls is a splendid getaway for a family and friends trip to beautiful Salcombe.

After an action-packed afternoon, be welcomed into the brightly decorated, open-plan living room, where you will find a well-equipped kitchen, a dining area and a welcoming sitting area, complete with a TV, perfect for those relaxing evenings in.

From here, throw open the door to discover a quaint balcony, boasting table and chairs, where you can enjoy a spot of alfresco dining as the sun sets over the estuary.

As the evening draws to a close, look forward to catching your rest within one of the well-presented bedrooms, comprising a king-size double with an en-suite bathroom, a twin bedroom (2'6) and a single bedroom, offering a flexible sleeping arrangement to suit the needs of your group.

The central location of the property means that you are a stone's throw away from a selection of shops, pubs and restaurants to enjoy, as well the estuary where you can enjoy a magnitude of water sport opportunities including surfing, kayaking and boat trips.

Alternatively, venture to the beaches of North Sands and South Sands, or spend an afternoon at the National Trust property Overbeck’s.

Salcombe is a popular destination for walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea and was once a major port. There are two pretty beaches within a short distance, North Sands and South Sands and further on is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe you must take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking, including the South West Coast path.
