    But the duvet cover was really thick so you could do with extra sheets to put in the bedrooms over the summer, also you could use a clothes line for the utilities room as with some smaller clothes that can’t go in the tumble dryer, and last sorry I know their is a bit , but a microwave would be a help just for a few things as we had to use the oven, but with the co op been under neath you can hear the delivery’s every morning .

The property

Saltstone, 3 Island Place, has an enviable private parking area with a turning circle on the ground floor, with steps that lead up to the first floor. Access to the property is from the rear of the development through a private terrace. On sunny days, relax outdoors and unwind on one of two private terraces.

The front terrace has views of Batson Creek, ideal for breakfast and the spacious rear terrace is equipped with outdoor dining furniture plus a bbq, perfect for taking advantage of the evening sun. On cooler days, sit back and lounge in the stunning open plan kitchen, dining and living room, with floor-to-ceiling windows an integrated sonos system with ceiling recessed speakers, a Smart TV and DVD player.

With beautiful modern seaside interiors, this bright and airy property floods natural daylight and provides seamless indoor/outdoor living. Contemporary coastal living continues in the high specification kitchen with Neff induction hob, oven, large fridge/freezer and Nespresso Coffee Machine.

On the second floor is an idyllic, luxury master bedroom with views of Batson Creek, king size bed and en suite with large walk in shower. Bedroom two has a double bed and bedroom three has twin beds which can be linked to create a Super-king bed. The high specification family bathroom has a bath with shower over, Porcelanosa tiles and Hansgrohe fittings. In addition there is a laundry room with Bosch washing machine and tumble dryer.

SALCOMBE

Kingsbridge 7 miles; Dartmouth 21 miles; Plymouth 24 miles; Paignton 26 miles.

Salcombe is a popular destination for walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea and was once a major port. There are two pretty beaches within a short distance, North Sands and South Sands and further on is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe you must take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking, including the South West Coast path.
