    I think it would be helpful to point out that parking is a 10/15 minute walk away but there is a short stay car park for loading/unloading.

The property

Slipways is a well-equipped first floor apartment, fully refurbished and superbly located in the centre of Salcombe, just two minutes’ walk from the pretty waterfront and harbour, shops, restaurants, cafes and the passenger ferry running to unspoilt sandy beaches. The comfortable, bright and airy lounge offers stunning estuary views, a large double sofa and window chairs, an open gas fire, TV with Freeview, DVD and mini CD hi-fi.

The kitchen is well equipped with a wide range of fitted units, integrated appliances, a dining table and chairs. The property sleeps four in two bedrooms, the master bedroom is furnished with a 5ft divan bed, wardrobe, bedside cabinets, chest of drawers and wash hand basin.

Bedroom two has full-size bunk beds, mirror and chest of drawers.

There is a large wardrobe in an adjoining corridor.

The bathroom has a large corner bath with shower (over). Slipways is a perfect base for couples or a young family looking to explore the unspoilt sandy beaches of North Sands and South Sands, and revel in the stunning views across the estuary to East Portlemouth and Millbay, amongst other enticing coves just a short walk or passenger ferry ride away.

Salcombe is a popular destination for walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea and was once a major port. There are two pretty beaches within a short distance, North Sands and South Sands and further on is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe you must take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking, including the South West Coast path.

Located in the centre of town. Due to the location of this property it may be noisy when the town is very busy.
