Fiona “Daylight Robbery.”
I paid over £1300 for this studio flat. It is tired and mean. badly appointed and badly laid out. Everything needs updating. The basin in the bathroom is cracked, the shower rail falls off, the window in the bathroom is cracked. the top of the towel rail is broken. All of the windows were filthy with seagull droppings down them. The place was dusty and filthy, old sweets and wrappers behind the sofa. I doubt it met the stringent cleanliness required for COVID. None of the glasses ...
None of the glasses matched. The wine glasses were sherry glasses. There were only three forks and two teaspoons. The 'hob' is a plug in baby belling. The wifi is very poor. The hoover smells and there are no attachments. There is no where to put your clothes and the owner has stuffed any space available with 'stuff'. Fridge has no ice compartment, so you can't store ice packs for your picnics that are suggested in the details. The front door catch does not work properly, you cannot put it on the latch, so be careful you don't lock yourself out. There is no excuse to charge such a high amount for such a poor level of accommodation. Coast and Country should be embarrassed to put your names to this property and you should be advising your client to update and repair this accommodation. Unfortunately Coast and Country have a monopoly in Salcombe, but I'd avoid using them if I could.
