The property

Located on the water’s edge, overlooking the Salcombe estuary, Woodside Apartments are set in a prime location, with enviable use of a private beach, accessed via steps down the private cliff garden.

With Salcombe's boutique shops and wonderful restaurants within a short walk, this property makes for the perfect retreat to this popular harbour town. The Garden House is a comfortable ground floor apartment, with sweeping views over the Salcombe estuary.

The bright and sunny kitchen is spacious and well equipped.

The combined living/dining area is attractively presented, enjoying a gas fire for the colder winter evenings.

The dining area boasts panoramic views, and double French doors leading onto a large stone terrace.

There are three bedrooms in total, with a King-size master en suite, a second double also with a King-size bed, and a third bedroom, perfect for children, with full-size bunk beds.

All duvets, pillows, bed linen and towels are provided.

The property enjoys access to a private beach and mooring, with a decking/barbecue area, and rock pools to explore.

A single running mooring is available (for a small boat or dinghy), with a swinging, deeper water mooring available at an additional cost.

Guests enjoy free Wireless broadband.

The property is baby friendly, and includes equipment such as a travel cot, folding mattress and steriliser.

Secure garage parking for one car is provided.

Salcombe is a popular destination for walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea and was once a major port. There are two pretty beaches within a short distance, North Sands and South Sands and further on is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe you must take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking, including the South West Coast path.
