The property

Waders is a large, comfortably furnished, family friendly home situated in a peaceful, mainly residential street, overlooking the town and the estuary beyond, yet just a short ten-minute walk downhill to Salcombe’s famous busy waterfront, boutique shops and numerous pubs and restaurants.

On entering the house from the enclosed courtyard garden, the property which has recently been redecorated, opens in to a cosy sitting room complete with two sofas, chair and occasional furniture.

There is a large Smart TV with soundbar.

A small staircase leads down to the kitchen/dining area which is located on the ground floor, this area boasts newly installed flooring for the 2023 season.

Within the dining area, is a large extending dining table with six chairs and access through patio doors to the rear garden and raised terrace area with outside seating.

Adjacent is the spacious kitchen, which comprises of a range of fully fitted, modern units.

Electrical appliances include an electric oven/grill, 4 ring hob, washing machine, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer.

Three bedrooms in total: On the first floor is the Master bedroom, with a double bed and stunning views, wardrobe and chest of drawers.

Bedroom two has two 3ft beds with bedside tables and a chest of drawers.

Within the twin bedroom is a wash-hand basin and shower cubicle.

One the second floor, Bedroom three has a double bed, hanging space and a chest of drawers.

In addition to the shower cubicle in the second bedroom, there is a family bathroom on the first floor with bath, shower (over) wash-hand basin and w.c.

and a separate w.c on the top floor with wash-hand basin.

Wireless Broadband is provided, and parking can be found nearby although this is not allocated.

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £250.

SALCOMBE

Kingsbridge 7 miles; Dartmouth 21 miles; Plymouth 24 miles; Paignton 26 miles.

Salcombe is a popular destination for walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea and was once a major port. There are two pretty beaches within a short distance, North Sands and South Sands and further on is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe you must take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking, including the South West Coast path.
