The property

Waterside View is an elegantly presented apartment, resting within the town of Salcombe.

Perched with overlooking views of the breath-taking estuary, this apartment promises a relaxing family holiday to Devon.

Step into the open-plan living room, where you will find a sitting area, a dining area and kitchen area, spacious enough for hosting the entire holiday together of an evening.

Fulfilling your culinary needs is the amply equipped kitchen, where you will find everything necessary for a week-long break, before heading into a dining room where you can catch the colourful boats travelling up the estuary.

As the evening draws to a close head to one of the three well-appointed bedrooms, comprising of a king-size double bedroom with an en-suite shower room, an additional double bedroom and a full size bunk bedroom which is ideal for hosting younger guests.

Spend a moment or two outside upon the front terrace area, where you can catch a spectacular sunset during the warmer months on comfortable Rattan furniture.

A leisurely stroll will bring you to a wealth of restaurants serving local produce and a number of pubs and shops.

Moreover, the property rests within an area where you will find an abundance of things to keep you and your loved ones busy.

Spend a leisurely day at the North Sands beach offering golden sand and turquoise waters, ideal for soaking up the sun before dipping into the sea.

Alternatively, venture out to the wonderful National Trust property, Overbeck’s, where you can discover the Edwardian-style home with beautiful gardens to enjoy.

Salcombe is a popular destination for walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea and was once a major port. There are two pretty beaches within a short distance, North Sands and South Sands and further on is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe you must take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking, including the South West Coast path.
