  • “The Bothy exceeded all our expectations.”

A beautiful location and luxurious accomodation and facilities. We even picked fresh mushrooms in the field for breakfast.

A beautiful location and luxurious accomodation and facilities. We even picked fresh mushrooms in the field for breakfast. The only problem was the narrow lane into the village and beyond if you wanted to go anywhere - but that's Devon!

The unspoiled little village of Slapton lies just inland from the nature reserve at Slapton Ley and the two mile-long beach at Slapton Sands in the heart of the South Hams in South Devon. A picturesque and peaceful village with a two excellent foodie pubs, The Queens Arms and The Tower Inn. Visitors come from far and wide to observe the wildlife that live in the nature reserve and the beach stretches as far as the village of Torcross and is popular with families being patrolled in summer months by the RNLI.
