The property

The Pink House is an attached cottage boasting distant sea views situated in the village of Stoke Fleming, within the South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

This property is ideal for a couple or small group wanting to be within walking distance of amenities and an award-winning beach on the South Devon coast.

Park up at the front of the property, where you will find two off-road parking spaces, before heading through the South facing front garden, passing a picnic bench seating area, which is perfect for an alfresco lunch as you sit and plan the rest of the day.

Step up into the entrance hallway and through to the living/dining room, relaxing on the welcoming sofa in front of the charming woodburning stove, and enjoy the natural light that floods in from the large bay window, while the dining table is the ideal place to gather and enjoy meals together, lovingly prepared in the well-equipped kitchen.

Upstairs you will find two double bedrooms; one of which is a spacious double with a large bay window showcasing the sea views available at the front of the property, while the second bedroom is a more compact space but offers plenty of storage, both rooms are served by a newly refurbished family shower room.

Explore Stoke Fleming village to stock up on essentials with a pub and Radius 7 restaurant on the doorstep should you want to take a night off from cooking.

Spend a day on the Blue Flag award-winning shingle beach of Blackpool Sands, where you can sunbathe, swim, try a host of watersports and grab a bite to eat at the café, less than one mile away from the property, and from here, you can join the South West Coast Path an explore the coastline in both directions, on foot or bicycle.

Head east towards the popular town of Dartmouth, which lies on the River Dart Estuary and is home to a castle and fortress, which boasts views over the estuary and Bayard's Cove Fort, as well as a museum, art gallery, while a boat ride across the estuary brings you to Kingswear Castle, Brownstone Battery and the National Trust's Coleton Fishacre House & Gardens.

Further along the coast brings you to Paignton and Torquay, which offer a host of attractions and day out opportunities, with zoos, beaches and magnificent eateries to choose from, while a journey west brings you to the traditional town of Salcombe on the Kingsbridge Estuary, boasting a maritime museum, selection of stunning beaches and the Edwardian-style property and museum of Overbeck's.
