The property

Positioned on the waterfront on Warfleet Creek just half a mile down-river of Dartmouth, Warfleet Boathouse Cottage is a stunning, superb property for six guests, providing an idyllic setting for a holiday to Devon.

This wonderful dwelling comprises of accommodation over the ground and lower-ground floors, with direct access onto the river and enclosed private terraces overlooking the water.

Head down the stone steps from the road, coming across several raised patio areas to enjoy, before finding the front door into the porch where you can set down your things or take off sandy shoes.

Discover a sumptuous sitting room to unwind in, with a large corner sofa and a woodburning stove for cool nights, along with bi-fold doors opening up to the terrace, providing an incredible backdrop to your relaxation.

Head into the open-plan living space, also with access onto the terrace, complete with a well-equipped fitted kitchen while a dining area is the perfect host for delicious home-cooked meals beneath the vaulted ceiling offering another corner sofa and Smart TV, Stairs lead down to the lower-ground floor where you can discover three elegant bedrooms furnished with quality white linens and furniture, all with king-size beds.

It offers a stunning waterfront, ancient narrow streets lined with boutique shops, restaurants and art galleries plus many local events such as the annual Dart Music Festival and the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta, along with the Dartmouth Food Festival held every October. There are many interesting cycling and walking routes around Dartmouth, including the South West Coast Path, the Dart Valley Trail and plenty of quiet country lanes. A trip on the Dartmouth Steam Railway through picturesque countryside to Paignton is a must, and so is a boat trip across to Kingswear and on to Brixham, a pretty little harbour town.
