“Mattresses/beds need replacing, not just putting a piece of foam on top, all this does is make you sweat and there is no support.”

If you sat on the edge you went down to the frame. The downstairs bedroom also had the noise of the oil fired boiler waking you up very early in the morning, which on holiday you don't want. BBQ had seen better days and needed replacing. All that said the house was in a lovely position close to the beach which was used a lot with two little ones. The coastal path was also very close if you like walking.

Thank you for taking the time to let us know about your recent stay at Thornbrook. We are sorry you found the beds not to be to your preference, as you can appreciate comfort of mattresses is very subjective, and we have only received complimentary comments previously. There are also instructions for the boiler in the property so you are able to adjust the time it fires up if it was disruptive to yourselves in the morning. The owner has read your comments and will review all the points raised during their next visit. We are glad you still enjoyed your stay and hope to welcome you back to the area again in the future.
