The property

‘Thurlestone Beach’ is a development of luxury apartments set within beautifully landscaped gardens. Situated just half a mile from the village of Thurlestone, and just a few minutes from the sandy beach of South Milton Sands and the wonderful South West Coast Path, it’s the perfect location for an unforgettable coastal retreat. 5 Thurlestone Beach is a spacious ground floor apartment, featuring breath-taking headland and sea views. The welcoming entrance to the property leads into a hallway, and onto the delightful open plan kitchen/dining/living area. The lovely kitchen is well equipped (including large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, gas oven and hob).

From the kitchen a door opens up to the courtyard, where fresh sea breeze and the tranquil sounds of South Devon’s stunning coast and countryside create the perfect seaside holiday setting. The separate utility room boasts a washing machine, tumble dryer and bread maker to make your holiday that extra bit easier. The comfortable living area features a large TV/DVD unit, a large sofa and armchairs, which are perfect for sinking into after a day at the beach. The dining table seats six, behind which are another set of French doors leading to the patio area, perfect for watching sunsets! The patio leads to 1.5 acres of communal gardens, with sheltered sunken garden and barbecue area. The master bedroom enjoys beautiful sea views reaching across the gardens. Comfortably furnished, there is a King-size bed, armchair, storage, TV/DVD unit and en suite bathroom with large shower. The second bedroom has two single beds, whilst the third bedroom has full-size bunk beds. Additionally, there is a family bathroom with bath, and separate overhead shower – perfect for soaking in to relax tired limbs after walking to secluded coves via the coastal path.

Baby friendly, the property comes fully equipped (including travel cot, highchair, and children’s crockery). Free wireless broadband internet is provided, as is one allocated parking space. Two dogs are permitted.

The picturesque village of Thurlestone is popular with both beach-goers and watersports enthusiasts, with the beautiful sandy beaches of Thurlestone and South Milton Sands within walking distance. Thurlestone boasts an 18-hole links golf course, a 13th century church, a traditional pub, a post office and the ‘Voyage Spa’, where visitors can enjoy spa treatments or afternoon tea. The sailing town of Salcombe is just a 10-15 minute drive away, and the fishing village of Hope Cove is a short drive away, or can be reached on foot via the South West Coast Path.

Owner will accept two well behaved dogs.

Parking is strictly for one car only. The visitor car park spaces are not available for your use.
