The property

Primrose Cottage is a substantial two-storey detached house ideal for a family holiday close to the beach or for walkers and other groups looking for a quiet location within easy reach of the coast and beautiful South Devon countryside. Situated on the edge of the popular village of Thurlestone, within walking distance of Thurlestone Sands, one of several local beaches owned by the National Trust attracting both families and water sports enthusiasts alike.

The South West Coastal Path is within easy reach for wonderful walks with spectacular views - picturesque and historic Thurlestone village is a 15 minute walk away with its 13th Century church, pretty thatched cottages, village pub, 4-star hotel and post office/stores.

The renowned Links golf course close by is set in 50 acres with fabulous sea views.

Good views across to Thurlestone Sands, Thurlestone Rock and the ocean beyond from the sitting room, bunk and master bedrooms. Through the entrance porch way into the hallway and access to most of the rooms on the ground floor.

A small but well equipped kitchen with 4-ring electric hob, oven and grill, microwave, dishwasher, walk-in larder and fridge.

Large L-shaped traditional sitting area with two comfortable sofas, two armchairs and well-stocked bookcase.

On the ground floor is a twin bedded room with two 3' single beds, bedside unit, large chest of drawers, television (DVD only).

On the first floor are three further bedrooms: Master bedroom with King- size bed, bedside tables, built-in wardrobes and dressing table.

Excellent views over the marshland and towards Thurlestone Rock.

The picturesque village of Thurlestone is popular with both beach-goers and watersports enthusiasts, with the beautiful sandy beaches of Thurlestone and South Milton Sands within walking distance. Thurlestone boasts an 18-hole links golf course, a 13th century church, a traditional pub, a post office and the ‘Voyage Spa’, where visitors can enjoy spa treatments or afternoon tea. The sailing town of Salcombe is just a 10-15 minute drive away, and the fishing village of Hope Cove is a short drive away, or can be reached on foot via the South West Coast Path.
