“Overall Coomery Barn met our expectations and we had a very enjoyable week.”

However we would like to share the following observations: The property is very well equipped in terms of kitchen appliances, TV/audio and sitting areas. I reported that the router and hot tub were not working on Monday morning. I was promised feedback via text on what was being done. However we would like to share the following observations: The property is very well equipped in terms of kitchen appliances, TV/audio and sitting areas. I reported that the router and hot tub were not working on Monday morning. I was promised feedback via text on what was being done. I didn't receive any message and phoned again on Tuesday and one of your maintenance engineers came and put things right on Tuesday evening. Your colleague offered a £50 refund in lieu of this lost service which I accepted. Once connected the internet wifi was excellent for such a rural location. Given that the property just has two double bedrooms and there is an expectation that adults only stay we felt that the ground floor bedroom lacked comparable facilities with the one on the first floor - no wardrobe hanging space for example and rather tight dimensions. Overall the property felt a little 'tired' and the lovely vast gardens haven't seen a gardener for some time judging by all the overgrowing! The house was very dark because of all the tree branches that have been allowed to grow over the windows. The table tennis table and spa area were a real bonus and obviously new, if unfinished. Your description says that the nearest pub is 2.1 miles away. It is in fact only 1mile - The Hunters Lodge Inn in Cornworthy. We had a very nice lunch there. At the end of our stay the cleaner came at 9.00a.m. although the documentation very clearly said 10.00a.m. so she had a bit of a wait. We are happy to recommend the property to others together with these observations.
