Reading of the Charter

Date: Wednesday 22nd

Handmade Lantern Competition display

Date: Wednesday 22nd
Time: 8pm

Get crafty and enter the Kingsbridge Fair Week lantern design competition. This year’s theme is ‘positivity’, so focus on everything that makes you happy and put it into your design, whether it be beach days, countryside walks or family time on holiday. Remember to use LED tealights inside your lantern and no naked flames. We recommend using sustainable materials where possible. Send a photo or video of your design to the committee and then tune in on Wednesday 22nd at 8pm to display your lantern.

To enter the competition, send entries to competitions@kingsbridgefairweek.co.uk and put ‘Lanterns’ as the subject. Good luck!

Handmade Lantern Parade

Date: Wednesday 22nd
Time: 9pm

We can’t think of a better parade than a positivity parade full of joyful glowing lanterns! Tune in at 9pm to witness this stunning spectacle.

Virtual Children’s Disco

Date: Thursday 23rd
Time: 11am and 7pm

Let the kids dance and play to the sounds of Kingsbridge Fair Week’s virtual disco. Grab the hairbrush to sing into, choose a spacious area of your holiday home for spinning and twirling and watch your kids make fun memories singing and dancing.

Josh Kingdom Virtual DJ Set

Date: Friday 24th
Time: 9pm

Sometimes you just need a good boogie – a time to literally shake off your troubles. Tune in to the virtual Josh Kingdom DJ set and lose yourself in the music, and the best bit is, you really can dance like no one is watching!

Virtual Carnival Procession

Date: Saturday 25th
Time: 6:30pm

Watch the colourful carnival procession in your holiday cottage. Expect to see a travelling emporium of wonderful crafts and creations from locals and South Devon businesses, a celebration which we think is well needed during this time.

Crab Catching Competition

Date: This event takes place throughout the week

Enjoy one of South Devon’s most-loved, traditional activities (from a two-metre distance to others of course!). See how many mighty-clawed crustaceans you can catch before freeing them back home to the water. The competition is on, so for a head start, why not read our complete guide to crabbing with our favourite local tips!

To enter the competition, send your photos to competitions@kingsbridgefairweek.co.uk.
