Coast & Country ‘Thatched’ Cottages Team Aim To Raise £750 For Movember
November 14th, 2013 | By Clare Levy
Ever noticed the sudden increase in moustaches during November? From wispy, barely-there fuzz to thick, glossy brushes that whisk you straight back to the 70’s, you’ll see more lip hair this month than at any other time of the year. That’s because November has been commandeered by the charity event Movember, a time when men across the world put away their Gillette Blue Twos and aloe vera infused shaving gel and let their upper lip facial hair grow as nature intended to raise money for men’s health issues.
Since the first official Movember in 2004, the charity has raised millions to help tackle serious conditions such as testicular and prostate cancer, depression, anxiety and other mental health problems. From its humble beginnings in Australia it’s now a global event, and everyone from fun loving students to button-down CEO’s get on board.
This year we’re getting involved in this wonderful event with our very own Coast & Country’s ‘Thatched’ Cottages Team. We have already achieved our initial target of £500, and we now aim to raise £750 for this worthy cause, and are asking for your help and support. You can follow our progress on our team page and also make donations.
The facial results might be patchy in places, but we’re going to power through and cultivate some fine furry specimens. Who knows, some of them may turn out to be keepers. Please support us by donating generously to the cause and helping us make a difference.
