For those that are regular Summer visitors we urge you to visit Salcombe during the Winter months to soak up the small town charm that the locals adore. Cool , crisp days can be spent enjoying walks on the beach or farmers markets and the quieter season makes this a perfect place to relax. With the estuary, beaches and South West Coastal Path just a stone’s throw away you don’t have to venture far to enjoy what’s on offer. There are plenty of activities to keep you entertained in Salcombe this winter.
Salcombe is included in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and features some of the most stunning coastlines and beaches, perfect for exploring whilst staying in the area. The weather often doesn’t allow for paddling or building sandcastles but a bracing walk watching the crashing waves is fantastic to invigorate and energise. Lots of the local beaches allow dogs during the winter making it a perfect escape for the whole family.
