With numerous slides and rides, as well as a fabulous indoor play area, there is plenty to do for children of all ages, whatever the weather. For animal lovers, why not head up to the Zoo-Farm to see the brand new chicks and the tame lambs. www.woodlandspark.com

Overbeck’s House and Gardens

On 5th & 6th April, head to the beautiful National Trust Gardens in Salcombe, for a fabulous Easter Egg hunt. Search for clues around the garden and museum and win a yummy Cadbury’s Easter Egg. With trails and quizzes to suit all ages, all children are catered for. For the adults, why not relax in the tea room with a delicious cake, or stroll around the beautiful gardens, taking in the fabulous views of Salcombe.  www.nationaltrust.org.uk/overbecks

Pennywell Farm

For Easter fun and games, head to Pennywell Farm this weekend. Enjoy a Easter Egg hunt, guess the weight of the Easter bunny, meet the Easter ‘babies’ and have a go at egg rolling as well as egg and spoon races. Why not give the micro pigs a cuddle, or bottle feed the lambs. You can even collect the hen’s eggs, and give milking a goat a try! www.pennywellfarm.co.uk
