Queens View

Queens View is absolutely superb.

Every little detail is thought of from the the stunning interior to all of the facilities in the house. There is absolutely everything anyone could need from a couple to a family for both a functional and a luxury stay in Dartmouth. The position of the house is perfect, 2 minute walk into town but with stunning views of the water. The owners are super friendly and helpful if you needed anything but there is absolutely nothing missing in this holiday home. It is stunning whilst still super cosy & comfortable. We have stayed twice, we know the town & area very well and wouldn't even look to stay anywhere else. You won't be disappointed, it's impossible! A big thank you to the owners.

Queens View is a short walk from town.

The fit out of the two floors is to a very good standard and the hosts have tried to think of everything. Even sharp kitchen knives! There is a lovely bay window with a view out to the entrance to the Dart. Very relaxing.

Fantastic location, a beautiful view and a spotless property. The owners have clearly put a lot of thought into the details to ensure that we had absolutely everything we needed, and more, to make our stay comfortable - from binoculars to admire the boats, to games to entertain the kids. And their welcome treats were hugely appreciated. We hope to return!

This was our second stay at Queens View and it didn’t disappoint!

It’s a fantastic place to stay; great location, well appointed, lovely bedrooms, spotlessly clean and the view across the River Dart is beautiful. The communication from the owners was excellent and the welcome gifts were a lovely touch (along with handy bits for our dog). We can’t wait to return!

We have stayed in many holiday properties over the years and Queens View is amongst the best.

The high quality and thoughtful renovation of this historic property together with quality decoration and furnishings has created a splendid holiday home. We were impressed from the outset and soon found that nothing had been overlooked by way of equipment or facilities. Lovely comfy beds and furnishings and a captivating view over the busy river. We will definitely return.

2nd time we've had a vacation at Queens View, loved it then and loved it now.

Easy access to town the views are stunning and the place has everything you need including a welcome pack for you and your dog. Definitely will be back hor a 3rd stay.

A Fantastic Stay at Queens View!

Queens View Apartment was spotless, stylish, and incredibly comfortable. The location is perfect—just a short walk from the centre of Dartmouth with stunning views. What really made our stay special was the owners' hospitality—they were so kind and helpful throughout. We felt truly looked after. Highly recommend for a peaceful and top-quality stay in Dartmouth!

Everything you could wish for in a holiday property…with amazing views across the Estuary, thoughtfully decorated and furnished …very close to the shops & restaurants (a 5 minute walk away.

) Even our small dog was catered for and enjoyed her holiday just as much as we did. Thank you to the owners for making this such a wonderful holiday home We will definitely be back.

What a wonderful place to stay!

Incredible views, fantastic location and a beautiful, spacious holiday apartment. From the outset the communication from the owners was quick and informative with them going out of their way to help. The apartment itself was spotless and tastefully decorated. And the view!! The parking permit came in handy and we also found on road parking near the apartment. The extra touches of welcome gifts, including bits for our dog, was gratefully received and made the stay even better. Thank you G&H. Highly recommend and we’ll definitely be returning!

We had a great stay at Queen’s view, lovely house with great facilities.

The stairs need careful attention when turning the corner, but the handrails make it better. The “wet room “ is very cramped, and as a result we didn’t use it, partly because we weren’t keen on getting the toilet area wet and simply the space. The main bathroom/shower area was very good though, and with planning meant we used that instead. The downstairs bedroom is quite large, so I would probably investigate the feasibility of installing a shower area there and make the wet room a toilet only? We couldn’t find any way of opening the velux windows in the main bedroom for fresh air, do they operate? But on the whole we were very happy, thank you.

What a gem of a place to stay.

The view is fabulous, the accommodation has been well thought out and we needed for nothing. It's position is ideal for a 2 minute stroll to the centre of Dartmouth without the need to climb any steep slopes or stairs. There is frè street parking until May, but the cottage also provided a parking pass and the mayor's car park which is only 5 minutes walk away. Loved this property and will be back soon.

Fantastic property - we were looking for somewhere quiet enough to sleep but not too far from Dartmouth centre (or with too many steps down), but we weren’t expecting such a lovely view too!

It’s was perfect, and the owner made us feel welcome and that he cared if we were ok. Really appreciated the care taken and comfort provided. We don’t often revisit the same properties, but I think we’ll be back to this one, if it’s not fully booked!

Lovely property, good quality furnishings.

Great location with a wonderful view. We were there during the Regatta so we had to park a mile away from the property, we’re weren’t made aware of this until we arrived at the property, so this delayed our check in time by an hour, due to road closures. There was no Wi-Fi in the upstairs bedroom.

Excellent location, high standard of facilities within the property, overall was a perfect property for our family and dog

Main bedroom with ensuite bathroom. Immaculate and clean. Downstairs twin or double bedroom. Separate toilet and shower in very compact room off the stairs. Great view from swivel chair in the bay window in the lounge. Owners were terrific at communicating we could arrive early and leave later which was good to know. S

This property is a jewel in the Queen's crown.

The apartment is beautifully decorated and has everything that you need for a short break or longer stay. The gifts of wine, afternoon tea, milk and doggy treats and ID tag were a really thoughtful touch. The location of the property is excellent and we enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning again and again. Thank you.

We filled in the feedback sheet at the property but was very pleased with everything lots of thoughtful touches such as the cream tea milk and bottle of wine in the fridge most welcome after the long journey.

The property was immaculate, view to die for, only let down was the British weather

The property was excellent.

It was decorated and furnished beautifully with everything you could possibly need. The house is a few minutes walk from the town with outstanding views. We really enjoyed our break and would like to revisit again soon

Newly refurbished split level apartment in great location with panoramic views of the river and an added benefit of a car park permit being provided.

This is a well equipped comfortable property that should be rated 5 star not 4 star.
