Accessible from the A38 in just 35 minutes, this delightful destination is certainly an excellent option for those looking to get from the motorway to ‘waterside’ quickly and easily.
The stunning stretch of Start Bay coastline is just a 10 minute drive away, offering countless coves of various sizes for beach days, watersports, walking and so much more. Visit well-known Blackpool Sands, a popular beach complete with a café. Or, drive a little further along the breathtaking coastal road to Torcross and learn about the area’s wartime history. You can even visit the Sherman tank, which stands as a monument to those who sadly lost their lives in Operation Tiger. The popular sailing town of Salcombe can be reached within a 30 minute drive, whilst the ferry in Dartmouth provides easy access to Kingswear, Brixham and Torbay. Totnes is just a 20 minute drive away, where there is a regular market and fascinating shops.
