How to enter our 2023 Children’s Christmas Card Competition

At Coast and Country Cottages, we’re thrilled to announce the return of our annual art competition, giving children throughout South Devon the opportunity to design our 2023 Christmas card.

One lucky winner of the competition will receive art supplies worth £50 and a batch of Christmas cards featuring their unique design. But that’s not all! The winner’s school or setting will also receive £200 to boost their art department.

How to Enter the Competition

Entering is a breeze and the rules are simple:

• Our competition is open to children up to the age of 16.
• You’ll need to complete your masterpiece on our downloadable entry form.
• The artwork should be in landscape format, brimming with brightness, vibrant colours, and eye-catching elements.
• Please do not stick anything onto your entry.
• Include essential information on your entry form: your name, age, and the name of your school or youth group.
• Please submit your completed entry forms to: victoria.rogers@sykescottages.co.uk.

The deadline for all submissions is October 21, 2023. This gives us time for the judging process, and we’ll announce the winner at the beginning of November.

Competition Theme

Coast and Country Cottages are proud to now be part of a B Corp accredited company. This recognition highlights our dedication to making positive contributions to people, the planet, and the communities we serve.

We encourage entrants to reflect on this theme when designing their cards. Your artwork should not only capture the magic of Christmas but also celebrate the beauty of South Devon while promoting its conservation and protection.

Additional Information

Please hold on to your original creation. In the event you win, we might require the original artwork to print our Christmas cards.

The winning entry will feature the artist’s name, age, and their school on the Christmas card. We will also announce the winner on our social media platforms and in local press. It’s crucial that entrants obtain parental/guardian consent for this. If consent isn’t granted, please indicate this where the child writes their name on the entry form.
