Lobster Pod Bistro

Lobster Pod Bistro

If there’s one place that has to be on any foodies list it’s the Lobster Pod Bistro. This quirky and unique dining experience offers some of the best food alongside a gorgeous sea view.

As the name suggests, this Hope Cove restaurant features four bookable pods in the gardens overlooking Inner Hope Harbour. Each pod can accommodate up to 10 people. They even come with Bluetooth sound systems and heaters for added comfort in the winter months.

The Lobster Pod started out as an unused shed in The Cottage Hotel grounds. It offers a place for local fisherman to store their live lobsters before being sold on. The owners embarked on a mission to save the fishing industry within Hope Cove. And the idea behind the pods – to give an all year round dining experience like no other.

They’ve teamed up with other Green partners to help them with their vision. This means all the beers you see on offer, the tea and coffee that you drink, and the food that you eat is all of the highest ethical quality. So you can enjoy a relaxing meal knowing that you are doing a little something to help the planet.
