    “Spanish Boathouse is a great property in a wonderful location.”

    The village pub (Manor) and the pop up restaurant on the foreshore (Creek) are both outstanding and the village shop is pretty good too, all within easy walking distance. The bed is extremely comfortable, but the sofa is not. The information and welcome packs are excellent and welcome. But it is necessary to be fairly fit to stay here, and fortunately we are. Access is not particularly safe, particularly in the dark. The external appearance needs some attention - cut back the brambles that ...

The bed is extremely comfortable, but the sofa is not. The information and welcome packs are excellent and welcome. But it is necessary to be fairly fit to stay here, and fortunately we are. Access is not particularly safe, particularly in the dark. The external appearance needs some attention - cut back the brambles that scratch the car, decorate the outside, and make the loose scree in the lane safer. Improve the exterior lighting. Somebody once told me that they judge holiday cottages by the coffee machine, and there wasn’t one. Having said all that we did have a lovely holiday.
