Had a good break, cottage is comfortable with easy access to the town centre and harbour provided you can cope with the steps.

Safety suggestion! I noticed one of the paving slabs on the steps near the front door had come loose — an accident waiting to happen.

Amazing couple of nights The house suited our family of 5 perfectly and I was able to park my SUV in the garage

We’ve stayed in Brixham so many times and this property is up there with one of our favourites.

The heater and warm water wasn’t working g but the lady who’s contact we had was so hopeful and fixed it straight away A minor note we did find a lot of rubbish and old food under sofas and behind them and under the bunk bed :/

To many stairs if you mobility problems 24 outside and 3 flights inside small back yard, well maintained inside the central heating could be simpler was a bit chilly at night and early morning It was a very comfortable stay but Rember Brixham is very hilly

Great location with parking.

We have stayed here before and love Brixham. I noticed that the window blinds were not present in any of the rooms this stay, and areas were not cleaned to my standard but these are just small things. The beds are really comfortable and there are all the things you need for a great stay here.

Lovely property in terms of location and also the perfect holiday home.

Decorated nicely and with everything we needed, but done in a practical way with lots of storage space, places to shove a pile bags and you didn’t constantly worry about damaging anything. The perfect holiday residence. Only one very, very small suggestion…. Is there potential for an additional coffee table in the lounge…. When sat down in the evening…. On that lovely sofa…. Only one person at the end had somewhere to put their drinks.

house, unfortunately I injured my knee 3 weeks ago so the steps were murder! Unfortunately garage position meant we couldn't use it - may be worth advising that people carriers won't be able to use! One of the slats on upper bunk bed was broken when we arrived, luckily the boy sleeping in it was light but needs seeing to!

Great location and the views were wonderful.

It really was a home from home. So close to the harbour, that we didn't really need to venture too far out of Brixham at all. We loved our break as a family of 4 with a dog. The amenities were great. Amazing to have private parking (the instructions for which were great) Just a couple of things that might need to be fixed - the main bathroom shower handle was really hard to turn. The kitchen tap was sticking, so difficult to switch off. The front door was hard to unlock, there was a bit of a knack to it).

We really enjoyed our stay and the property was very comfortable and home from home.

It’s well maintained and very clean. We will definitely return.

Brixham harbour is stunning with lots going on. The locals are all so friendly. Very dog friendly. We cannot recommend highly enough, we will definitely be back

Great cottage in the centre of Brixham, with great views of the harbour from two of the bedrooms.

Extremely comfortable and excellent for families. Garage a bonus in Brixham, but not easy to get in (parking instructions provided).

The garden needed abit of a sweep and a tidy!

apart from that it was a lovely house to stay in.The views were absolutely beautiful. The people are very friendly there. We didn't need to take to car out once as there it was lovely just to go for a walk around the harbour or hop on a bus,of which was so cheap! We will be back

Lovely property to stay in, spacious with Lovely views out of 2 main bedrooms, Having a garage is a godsend in brixham and yes it's little awkward to get in but nothing drastic.

Lovely seating area at front to watch world go by and if you have a dog there's a park very near to excercise them. Would definitely book again

Lovely and well maintained the steps leading up to property do need a jet wash but otherwise as described we had a lovely stay and will return

Lovely house, set back from the harbour.

If unable to manage steps or stairs this is not the place for you. Harbour and shops within easy reach. Whilst dog friendly the property is carpeted through out which is difficult to keep clean with wet and muddy paws. Amazing views over the harbour. Plenty of equipment provided and the garage was a bonus. Would recommend highly.

A beautiful house, in a great location for the harbour, restaurants and coastal path walks.

The wonderful view of the harbour never ceased to amaze whatever the time of day or the weather. The house was well set up for a family, and also for a well behaved dog. Will definitely come again. And we are all definitely fitter. Coming from flat East Anglia, the 20 steps to the front door have probably extended my life by months!!

We had a lovely stay in this property.

The garage is great to have and adequate for a large car with the doors open, but it quite difficult to park in. It would have been useful to have a local map to the property and parking instructions sent out prior to arrival. There was everything we needed, the views of Brixham Harbour were amazing. Shops and restaurants were on the doorstep. If we return to Brixham we would definately stay here again. Highly recommended.

We are 80 and 78 years old and had to cancel this holiday the day before travel, due to illness.

Sykes were advised and I requested some refund to cover no use of energy, no laundry no wear and tear etc. No one from Sykes has had the courtesy to sympathise with the fact that we were ill.,nor has my request for some compensation been answered.
