The property

The Dairy is a charming annexe resting on the outskirts of Malborough, a quiet country village in South Devon (AONB).

Nestled within 20 acres of land to enjoy private walks with many footpaths to be discovered and close to the coast, The Dairy accommodates two visitors, boasts original features, a cosy woodburning stove, and a terrace from which to enjoy the expansive views of the countryside.

A wonderful location for a romantic break.

Travel down the narrow country lane and park up on the driveway, before climbing the steps up to The Dairy, firstly reaching the open-plan living space.

Be welcomed into this homely space, with plush seats, a TV, a crackling woodburning stove (starter pack provided, extra logs can be purchased on site), and a small kitchen area, sure to meet your self-catering needs.

With a drink in hand, enjoy the sun setting over the Devonshire countryside from the terrace before retiring to the comfortable bedroom, which features a plush super king bed, ample storage, and an A-framed beamed ceiling.

Before setting out on an adventure, freshen up in the sleek shower room, followed by grabbing a bite to eat at The Royal Oak, stock up on supplies at a nearby convenience store, or travel to Salcombe to dine at a variety of restaurants including the Crab Shed, Winking Prawn or treat yourself to afternoon tea at the Salcombe Harbour Hotel.

Continue your day with a stroll across the North Sands, a visit to the maritime museum, people-watching at the harbour, a visit to Overbeck's Garden to see some gorgeous blooms or taking in Snapes Point's breath-taking landscape.

Reroute to the south to discover the scenic surroundings of Soar Mill Cove or take a trip across Bolberry Down, which follows the coastline and its network of walking trails.

Finish your break in the estuary town of Kingsbridge or visit the pretty village of Hope Cove before heading back home for sunset drinks.
