Lovely property.

Views out the front 2 bedrooms were absolutely stunning. And loved how central it was. Super clean and spacious. Shower in main bathroom doesn’t get hot - needs a plumber to reset the thermostatic valve. Other shower fine. Generally water pressure not great but fine for holiday. A lot of emphasis was put onto dealing with the rubbish properly however no bin liners were provided. Neither was there any washing liquid or dishwasher tabs which annoys me no end.

Warm & comfortable which was lovely for the time of year.

Clean & well equipped. Useful extras too. Location is fabulous. The water pressure is low but I guess to do with the area. We have stayed here a couple of times before & would do again. Thank you.

11 Ridge Hill provided a wonderful location, with great views of Dartmouth and a short walk to the townsite and buses.

The Property was very well appointed and very clean. The only issue was the sagging mattress in the main bedroom, but not a major concern. Thank you

Lovely place we have used before on numerous occasions but feel it is now in need of improvements.

The beds are tired and especially in the main bedroom. The water supply is very slow and as we prefer baths to showers a long wait is needed to fill a bath tub. We are happy with the cleanliness and utensils provided etc but milk, washing up liquid and maybe a few biscuits on arrival would help. We will stay in Dartmouth again but will try another place to stay next time.

First impressions, it would of been great if we'd been informed the road was being dug up by the gas board so couldn't even drop luggage off.

On our checking out day a gas man knocked at door to turn mains off, having a conversation about it, he said the owners were informed weeks ago, not easy trekking up and down with cases and generally walking. First impressions Inside, cleanliness perfect. No welcome basket, my fault to presume there would be, but in all previous accommodations I've ever booked I've always had one, so couldn't even make a cup of tea. Outside not so, chairs and table dirty and very rusty, patio area had plenty of moss on from roof. Lovely idea to have a barbecue but that was filthy with cigarette ends in it. Yuk. I particularly rented this property for the outdoor space but unable to use. I don't see why I should have to clean before using. Photos on booking are much better than in reality. During the stay found everything in the kitchen equipment perfect in order to cater for ourselves. Beds were extremely comfortable including pillows. Slept well. Plenty of space for accommodating clothes, although unfortunate that the wardrobe in 2nd bedroom has to be filled with hoover, highchair etc. Would be better in a cupboard in the hall way, Lovely views from the bedroom windows. Had a great stay, would of been better if the garden had been cleaned.

Great cottage and perfect location for us with two kids

We had been here before and the interior did not change and was well looked after.

We also missed washing up liquid etc. Staying for almost 2 weeks an additional bin bag would have been great too. The house needs a good cleaning especially in the living room we used the couch as a bed and it was not clean also underneath but we could not find a carpet sweeper. Only one person can shower at a time otherwise there is no water. The house was dusty and also the outside was not inviting to sit. BBQ was left with cigarette buds we did not use anything. Also front outside could do with a sweep. I don’t think we will be back the cars driving up and down the hill really fast in the morning (when you have the window open) was very annoying. The location is good and the view but not sure if it is worth the money.

Really enjoyed our stay at 11 Ridge Hill and will be looking to stay here whenever we are back in Dartmouth.

The location is fantastic for town and everything is a short walk away. The apartment is up a steep hill with no parking but this is made clear and did not present a problem for us - you just have to be creative regarding loading and unloading and there are plenty of unrestricted spaces at the top of Ridge Hill/Mount Boone. The bedrooms were fantastic and beds comfy, the apartment was clean and well appointed. We were provided with a nice welcome pack of tea/coffee plus washing up liquid etc Our only gripe is the showers which need some love and a good clean - the rainfall showers had such low pressure through them and were covered in rust/scale. Overall a fantastic place to stay, which is quiet and comfortable with great views and perfectly positioned for a Dartmouth getaway.

On arrival there was no wash up liq, dish wash tabs, black bin bags, machine washing liq or wash up cloth.

Basically no essentials which would be expected to get started on a 2 week holiday. After requesting they were provided but we shouldn't have had to ask. Totally unreasonable to expect us to buy all of these things.

Had a fabulous week in Dartmouth, the weather couldn’t have been better.

No 11 Ridge Hill was exceptional, everything we needed and so convenient for the town. There is a short steep walk to the apartment and no on site parking. We travelled to Dartmouth by train and so parking wasn’t an issue for us. We were fortunate enough to have a guided tour of the Britannia Royal Naval College, amazing. Our tour guide Mike was excellent, if you get a chance to go, do , you won’t be disappointed. We also recommend Sykes Cottages.

We have become regular visitors to Dartmouth, and when we stay have used Sykes Cottages for our accommodation and 11 Ridge Hill was lovely.

It was clean, bright and cozy with river views from the bedroom. Set on one floor (ground) it had two large bedrooms, one with ensuite. It is within a larger, old building with some original window shutters and thick walls. A small rear yard was available but we visited in the winter. On a steep hill so worth considering if you have any physical limitations as there is no parking or permits with this property, which would've made the stay a 5 for us. Would definitely stay again, thank you

We thought 11 Ridge Hill was a great place to stay.

Older or less physically able folk should be aware that it’s on a steep hill, not too bad for walking but loading and unloading a car is not easy on the hill as you effectively block the road. However for us it was a great space, well appointed and kitted out. Lovely to base from and lovely to be in! Definitely recommend a will happily return.

Outstanding property in a super perfect location.

It had everything we needed. And lovely touches. Welcome pack was great. Gorgeous comfy beds. Loved the small outside space. Had to give all the outside furniture a clean first though and a bit of a tidy up . But I expect it’s hard to maintain. Would come back in a heartbeat. Our favourite place to stay now in Dartmouth. Didn’t want to leave. Thank you

We had a lovely short break at Ridge Hill.

The apartment is in an ideal position close to the shops and esplanade. It is spacious and clean with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The courtyard garden is a little sun trap, lovely for enjoying a morning coffee. As others have mentioned, parking is an issue in Dartmouth but we managed to find a space every day at the top of the hill.

Dear Team We thought that the property was in an ideal location and has been beautifully converted.

The bathrooms were particularly well done. The property was all very clean although a few dog hairs on sofas from previous occupants. The only negative was damp in the second bedroom. It was prevalent by the window with mould spots and smelt musty. Always hard to eradicate in an old property though. Overall an excellent property.

Lovely place would recommend it to friends and family.

Beds uncomfortable.

Better quality mattress and pillows needed. Curtains and carpets are rotten. Description shows a view of the marina from the garden which is incorrect. Parking cost is horrendous at nearly 25 pounds a day. Parking permit would help or at least a heads up on this cost. Would have been nice to have been informed that if you use RingGo app you don’t have to move your car. Welcome pack shows total lack of any form of welcoming. Personally it’s not worth bothering with.

Rain shower in main bathroom needs descaling as water drips out ! Clock living room and hallway not working-unimportant really Garden Furniture not cleaned Table covered in poop Unswept and untidy Oven Unclean! Disgraceful! Kitchen cupboards all need a scrub as dirty and ‘bits’ floating about Floor in apartment filthy - needs a good mop - probably a few times! Carpets are beyond disgusting!! Need replacement! Beds made up extremely poorly Saying that, crap bedding duvets, duvet covers and pillows all need replacement! But beds comfy All in all, very tired Stayed with coast and country 5 times and always been excellent Sadly this time seriously disappointed and makes me wonder if I’d pick coast country again? Atm I’d say no!! This apartment is not suitable for anyone that is unfit as hilly (extremely hilly) by that we mean, a very steep climb up and down into Dartmouth And no parking (but we knew that) Also to note steps up to both bathrooms!! Have a good think before you book this property, I wouldn’t have wasted our money had I known or read any recent reviews (of which there were very few) Gutted we booked this place and want to go home and that’s day one What could be a lush apartment only needs a lil bit of money spent on it! Mad really

Fabulous cottage, great facilities, lovely little garden, a real sun trap.

The hill was a bit steeper than I realised, which my elderly father struggled with but managed. Very convenient for the centre of Dartmouth. Excellent holiday, would highly recommend.

Car parking was a major issue.

Beautifully styled property with everything you could possibly need from books to candles and matches to make our stay cosy and comfortable.

Besides the problem with the hot water (due to the boiler repairs undertaken the day before we arrived) everything was super. A well equipped kitchen made cooking a pleasure

Kitchen poorly equipped.

Not enough utensils to cook a meal, lack of storage for biscuits, cakes etc. Ensuite shower too small, and nowhere to put anything when you are showering. Main bathroom did not have any storage shelves, or cupboard.

This property was perfect for our stay we loved it spotlessly clean throughout had everything we needed we have been coming to Dartmouth for ever as my family were born here this is one of the best places we’ve stayed in other than our family home would stay here again

Really enjoyed our stay.

This is the 3rd time at 11 Ridge Hill. The only negative I can think of is, the tap water was not good for drinking. Welcome bottled water would have been good.

The property was delightful,very light,comfortable and tastefully decorated.

It provided everything necessary for a perfect stay. The location was excellent,very close to all the amenities in Dartmouth. I would definitely stay again.

Beautifully equipped and comfortable accommodation with coastal furnishings and decor.

Only let down by being dusty and dirty in places and quite damp in one of the bedrooms - this could be smelt and seen, however this did not spoil the holiday. The only thing which spoilt it a little was the lack of heating and hot water on 2 days but this was addressed (although not fixed) swiftly and the accommodation owners offered a refund of 2 nights accommodation which was acceptable. This was a lovely place, ideally located with great facilities and everything required for a self catering accommodation. The key collection and return was also swift and easy.

The flat is very comfortable and beautifully furnished - close to everything.

The television is placed too high - which makes uncomfortable viewing. Would be useful to have hooks on the back of the bathroom doors. Parking is a nightmare - a parking permit would have helped enormously! BUT - we had a lovely stay and would be very happy to return to the same property.

Cleanliness in the apartment was very good, only let down by the patio garden had not been cleaned.

Parking is a nightmare in Dartmouth, but we did manage to find a parking place up the top of Ridge Hill. The main problem for us is that we arrived on Dartmouth’s regatta weekend and the directions for collecting the keys was not applicable as the main town centre was closed off to traffic. We had to park in the Park & Ride, catch the bus in to town and then find the office to collect keys at 3pm. Could not find any car parking facilities until after six pm to unload car. Other than that we had a very enjoyable week, with everything right on the doorstep.

Had a great week in Dartmouth staying at 11 Ridge Hill, accommodation was exactly as described and comfortable for a family of 4 staying for a week.

The location is fab and only 2 mins walk into the center, I was initially concerned that parking would be a major headache (other properties provide a pass for the main carpark) however I was able to park for free from 6pm>3pm around the park directly outside (College way / Combe road) so it was workable. A bit frustrated that the beds had not been split into singles prior to our arrival, I had spent over 1 hour to get through on the telephone to the head office and specially request this as there was no facility to enter this request when booking on the app and no email address to contact (why?). We really enjoyed using the BBQ in the garden (very good) but shame it is missing BBQ tongs and utensils....also no washing line or clothes horse which is better for the environment and saves the electricity from the washer/drier. Otherwise all good and would recommend same place to friends.

Fabulous cottage equipped to the highest standard in a great location.

Exactly as published and more. Check in was easy, spent a week enjoying Dartmouth and surrounding areas and would definitely recommend.

The only problem was access up the v steep hill. I would not recommend the property to older and/or less fit visitors. Parking is not ideal but we sorted it either on the street or using the Park and Ride.

Dartmouth and area is beautiful and we enjoyed lots of walking. Fortunately the weather was kind. Will book again soon,depending upon virus situation.
