It’s always a pleasure visiting 3 Dartview, a really comfortable flat with lovely views across the river Dart.

The flat was fantastic great location car park not far away with permit bottle of Prosecco in the fridge with milk couldn’t fall the flat at all fantastic views from the window.

The only problem we had was the building work going on upstairs. I’ve been onto Sykes and we seem to be going round in circles. Haven’t had no response from them. The noise from upstairs absolutely ruined our holiday.

3 Dartview was wonderful.

The view was magnificent and ever-changing. The flat was beautifully equipped and appointed. The hosts had provided all that was required, plus multiple welcome gifts to ensure that we could fully relax and enjoy our 58th wedding anniversary in style! We would certainly hope to return.

A fantastic place to stay clean comfortable and perfect for exploring Dartmouth, the view from the bay window is brilliant no need for a tv just sitting watching the hassle and bustle or the dart estuary is enough, can't recommend 3 dart view enough

The apartment was extremely well presented and the VIEW was magnificent.

What a lovely charming place.

I tried to book for the same week next year but unfortunately it has been taken but just a couple of negatives regarding the cleaning. There were coffee stains all up the cupboards in the kitchen. The glass on the dresser in the bedroom hadn’t been cleaned And the kitchen floor also hadn’t been cleaned. The shower screen was also dirty. This is just cosmetic and can be sorted. I do think that the pillows need changing they went flat very quickly and were most uncomfortable. However, this does not take away from the fact that it is a beautiful little apartment and a lovely place and very tastefully decorated. I will definitely recommend and I will definitely be returning.

Lovely apartment, with everything we could have wished for available.

The most fabulous view from the sitting room. Situated in what we thought was the nicest and most interesting part of town, with shops, restaurants, cafes, access to waterside for boat trips, museum and castle all within easy walking distance. Parking permit was very useful, plus we also managed to park just opposite the property for a part of our stay, although we imagine that may not be possible during the spring/summer/autumn seasons.

The bathroom could do with a scrub to get some mould off the back wall and the main window in the lounge has a patch where an insect seems to have got trapped and left quite a bit of ‘deposit’ which could do with a clean but this didn’t detract from our enjoyment. We love staying here and if ever you think of selling…

A small but absolutely brilliantly presented flat with the most stunning views you might ever experience.

The two extremely comfortable armchairs in the bay window perfectly complemented the view. Our favourite spot and hard to drag ourselves away from. Very comfortable bed and bedding and plentiful fluffy towels in the bath / shower room added to the comfort. The compact kitchen area was very well equipped and had everything we needed to prepare our eat in meals. Such a joy to glance round from kitchen duty to see the passing boats! This was the perfect relaxing holiday in a WOW property and have already booked up to return in 2025. Thank you.

This is a delightful appartment with an amazing view.

Even better than the des cription. All the extra touches were lovely - ornaments and pictures and flowered towels very pretty. Additional books and games and binoculas a lovely idea and the kichen was well stocked with equipment. Thank you for lovely roses and drink a great welcome after a long train and bus journey from Yorkshire. The owner did everything right and more. Thank you again for helping a very enjoyable holiday.

3,Dartview is an exceptionally maintained "home from home" with incrediible views of Dartmouth, the Dart estuary and the surrounding vista.

The property is equipped with all that is needed for a stress free holiday, - we have returned to this cosy flat on numerous occasions over an extended period of years.

We could not be more delighted by every aspect of our stay in this well appointed and superbly located property.

The owners of the apartment have, obviously, put in a lot of effort to ensure that the standard of the facilities far exceed that which could reasonably be expected. In fact, there were too many for us!! Although a television is provided, we did not use it and chose instead to take in the magnificent harbour views and observe the constant movements therein. This is the first time we have stayed in a Sykes property but, based on our recent experience, it may not be our last. Many thanks to the owners of Dartview.

What an amazing 'home' from which to explore Dartmouth and the area .

.. and just to watch the Dart and world go by from. We don't normally return to a holiday destination (there being so many other new places to see) but this one we may well do!

Absolutely lovely apartment, very clean and comfortable with everything you need, this property is a credit to the owners and the letting company.

We loved the apartment!

It had everything we needed for our week long stay. It was very homely and the owners had given thought to providing comfort . Nice bed with feather duvet and pillows. Big, fluffy towels in the bathroom. Comfy sofa, and the armchairs by the window for admiring the view of the river and Kingswear . Being September, we had no trouble finding space in the central car park and this was free with the notice provided. The apartment was only a 5 minute walk from town, so really convenient. No complaints at all.

We usually book the adjacent two bedroom first floor property at Dartview which wasn’t available, but this property, although a little smaller, was very satisfactory.

We have, in fact, stayed there once previously.

stunning apartment wonderful stay the only thing I would say me and my husband like to cuddle up and watch the television before we went to bed and it was just too small !

The view was even better than it looked in the photos- breath taking.

Kitchen facilities were fine and making a dinner in the small kitchen was no problem at all. The parking permit worked easily, but once their we didn't need a car- beautiful walks from the door and the local shops had everything we needed. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property and we would definitely like to return ourselves.

The apartment was perfect for a couple.

The view from the apartment is spectacular . All the furnishings and equipment are of a good quality. All in all a fabulous break.

Overall great, just a couple of minor things, the lighting over the kitchen is not great, and a little heater for when it's really cold like the Friday we arrived, it took a while to get comfortable, but a great flat, location, views.

....would certainly come again.

A comfortable well equipped flat in a beautiful chilling quiet location but very near the centre of Dartmouth.

It has been decorated beautifully with lovely objects that I could have chosen myself very similar tastes to me .A free permit for the carpark all week was a bonus and only a short walk down from the flat. We have visited 3 Dartview many times for a stay and will continue to do so .It's a go to place for us when we need to unwind and take stock. Sometimes are visits are planned other are very last minute . Dartmouth itself is beautiful with very friendly people..There's plenty to do if your feeling energetic or a great place to unwind in the flat in your comfy chairs watching the world go by.The lovely little extras you left were greatly appreciated and enjoyed. I loved the Christmas tea Cosy and the beautiful drift wood Xmas tree .Until the next time .....

No 3 Dart View is just perfect….

. We had an absolutely beautiful break. Everything is there to hand including games, books, binoculars, sewing kit for emergencies plus advice on local activities and maps to help detailing local walks, we have stayed 3 times at Dartview we love it. Instead of going out to find a place to eat with a nice view it makes sense to stay right where you are and eat in… you won’t improve on the view. Watch the river life and the steam train opposite in warmth and a lovely comfy chair sat in window. Shame one of the windows doesn’t open as frame needs repair. Sadly we had a big problem with our booking, and despite our request’s (12 weeks in advance) Sykes would not even consider swapping weeks for another week (which was still available), but their answer was “you are contracted to pay for the week you have booked” so just be aware once booked you can’t change…. For this reason we won’t use Sykes again as it was most frustrating and spoilt the break. It’s a great Shame 3 Dart View is only bookable through Sykes… But if you book this flat you will have a lovely time I’m sure the car park (which you are given a parking pass for) is just a few mins walk away.

We enjoyed staying at 3 Dartview & would stay at this property again.

The apartment is ideally situated in a great location, close to the town, with fabulous views of the river Dart and Kingswear.

We were impressed with the attention to detail; everything had been well thought through and provided; particularly difficult in a small space. For example, the clever use of a cupboard for utility items and the inventive way of providing hanging space. We have stayed in larger places, with less facilities. The kitchen was very well equipped and although we ate out every evening, we could just have easily cooked. All in all, a real home from home, which we would gladly stay in again.

Dartmouth is a wonderful area for a holiday with so much to see and do.

The location was perfect for us and the views spectacular. We spent many evenings playing scrabble and watching the ferry go back and forth. The little touches of prosecco, flowers biscuits etc were really thoughtful and made us feel very welcome. Thank you

Great property in a prime position with excellent views up and down the Dart, and for exploring the town.

The facilities provided were excellent and the welcome essentials pack was a nice touch.

Location, location, location.

No private parking at the property. The kitchen area is small. The bedroom is small. The bathroom is fairly standard. So why is this property so popular? the lounge/dining area and the views therefrom are the key to this property. If the property was in any other location most holidaymakers would not give it a second glance. But because of its location it is the only property we are sad to leave when our week is over!

Perfect in every way.

Delightful property - comfortable, light, airy, beautifully decorated and of course, with incredible views. The flat was extremely well equipped and with thoughtful additions like the vase of fresh flowers, milk and prosecco that were much appreciated. The parking permit was a real bonus too and although a walk of c7 minutes to the main car park, this was not an issue. Location terrific too - so close to the town centre but all was tranquil in our gorgeous hideaway. Loved it.

The only issue we had was the duvet was a little on the small side

In an ideal location, within easy walking distance of the town as well as some excellent coastal walks. Very well equipped and with many thoughtful touches. Obviously the view was fantastic and provided interest whatever the weather.

Absolutely stunning views, no real need for a TV , happy to sit and watch the world go by. Bed and bedding ( quilt) are very small, for 2 average size people. Lovely Christmas Christmas tree , and Christmas ornaments around. Nice touch with our welcome pack

We had a really nice Holiday.

The flat has everything in it that you need and more (games & even a pair of binoculars) It’s warm, comfortable and the views are fantastic. If you like Dartmouth it’s just perfect, just around 200 metres from town. Two relaxing chairs to sit in window and enjoy it. The Bed was comfortable, the shower was very good, the flat is a good size for two and very clean and well presented. The only negative for us is we can’t take our little Shih Tzu so he goes to a carer otherwise we would visit this flat more. Don’t hesitate book it you won’t regret it. Sign in window says “it doesn’t get much better” I would say that it’s the perfect place for that sign…. Thanks for two amazing weeks. Can’t wait to go again we loved it.

Beautiful flat within easy access to all amenities, could not of asked for more

On 2 occasions we bought M&S meal deals which had the main meal to be heated in a conventional oven and the side to be heated in a microwave.

Quite difficult when the oven is a Conventional/Microwave combination. We had not noticed this on our previous rental because that was pre Covid and we were eating out. Perhaps a downside of a compacted kitchen area when all the local hospitality was struggling with staff availability.

Loved sitting by the lounge window and watching the boats.

Everything you could possibally want for your holiday has been supplied in the flat. We would recommend 3 Dartview to anyone that was thinking of going on holiday to Dartmouth.

It was such a wonderful experience to stay in such a beautiful apartment with amazing views and facilities.

Extremely thoughtful design and use of space to it’s it’s full extent. The most enjoyable holiday we’ve had for a long time and have already booked for next year. Please thank the owners.

Beautifully clean, tidy and comfy and with a fabulous views and just about every need catered for. I would highly recommend, both this accommodation and the company. And best of all, you can pay for the holiday in instalments of your own choice and whenever is convenient. 10/10

This was without doubt the best holiday flat we have ever stayed in! Every possible item of comfort and convenience was provided, the view was superb and the car parking permit worked like a dream. Trish the, owner, personally cleans the flat at each turnover and keeps it in this state of perfection, we think she must be Wonderwoman!

Apartment really well equipped, with all home comforts. Warm, cosy, clean and a lovely welcome pack of milk, tea bags in the teapot and scones with jam and clotted cream. Very thoughtful. Lovely position in Dartmouth and loads of places to go and explore nearby. Highly recommended by us.

Extremely well appointed.

Being told about the scaffolding next door obscuring the view on the right was good along with our request for 10% discount.

Dealing with burst water main issue was also excellent. Very good service from Sykes cottages. There were a couple of items we might add to the property - ice cube tray and baking tray would be useful.

We have been to this small but cosy apartment 3 times over the years and it remains the same high quality as the first.

Excellent location with an expectation view over the Dart , up to date facilities and very comfortable. A great place to relax .

We think a seperate microwave would of been more useful than a integrated one in the cooker.

Other than that all was well with the flat. Although parking was hit and miss outside, but the provided town car park pass was very useful.

A lovely touch was the cream tea left by the owners on our arrival. Weather not too kind but Dartmouth and surrounding places to visit are beautiful.

Wonderful apartment in Dartmouth and exactly as described with amazing views, only a short walk to the heart of Dartmouth.

Flowers, cream tea and two small bottles of wine greeted us on our arrival, very nice touch. If anything a slightly later time to drop off keys on leaving, 11am would be better than 10am but otherwise brilliant

Collecting the keys and parking pass was very easy from the kind and friendly office staff who gave us very easy to follow instructions to our holiday accommodation.

We walked into the apartment and it took our breath away. Even better than we had expected. Everything was thought about - so many lovely little touches to make us feel very welcome and comfortable. The Devon Cream Tea provided for us was a really kind thought- we thoroughly enjoyed that! When my husband pulled some stitches on his coat, I found the sewing kit - perfect. Would definitely book this apartment again.

The apartment was very central to pubs resraurant's .The apartment had a stunning view .The apartment was comfortabe well equipped and decorated very tastefully .The welcome pack was very thoughtful and we did enjoy the cake and the beautiful flowers .. We had a lovely couple of days there and plan to go back .

Second Christmas at Dartview.

This apartment is amazing. So clean, comfortable and probably the best views in Dartmouth. The Christmas extras provided make it magical.

The perfect getaway for a couple or single person. Well equipped, spotlessly clean and perfectly positioned. Less than a minute to the riverside, pubs and restaurants. The views over the harbour are simply stunning, I never even switched the TV on for 3 days! Despite being on the road, it is very quiet. The only downside is the parking, but as the free car-parking is less than 5 minutes away, it really wasn't an issue

A return visit, to a fantastic flat with all that you could wish for (and even things that you might not know you want but it's all there just in case). From a personal point of view we would prefer a King Size bed, however that did not stop us enjoying our week there.

Great flat in perfect location for strolling into town and looking out over the harbour. Amazing sunny vista across the harbour while sat in the armchair drinking wine.

A lovely apartment in a beautiful position. Even if the weather is bad, the view from the window compensates. The cream tea and wine makes one feel welcome. The only negative is that we have a 5 foot bed at home and we feel cramped in the double bed although we realise that it would be awkward to fit in a bigger bed. The pluses outweigh this.

Very clean and exceptionally well organised flat in a superb location overlooking the river and ferries. Thoughtful touches by the owner made us feel so welcome and the 'medcine' of Dartmouth and the Dart started working for us immediately.

I would have preferred to have a king size bed rather than the double.

Accommodation was well equipped and clean. Bedroom very small and 4ft 6inch bed in stark contrast to our 6ft bed at home. However, we knew exactly what we were getting from the accurate letting particulars and photos so no complaint, just a comment! The view from the bay window made up for it! Stunning! Don't think we bothered with the TV!

The flat was immaculate and extremely well furnished with everything you could need for a holiday including the most wonderful view over, up and down the Dart! Very welcome cream tea on arrival complete with handmade teacosy!
