“No 3 Dart View is just perfect….”

We had an absolutely beautiful break.
Everything is there to hand including games, books, binoculars, sewing kit for emergencies plus advice on local activities and maps to help detailing local walks, we have stayed 3 times at Dartview we love it. Instead of going out to find a place to eat with a nice view it makes sense to stay right where you are and eat in… you won’t improve on the view. Watch the river life and the steam train opposite in warmth and a lovely comfy chair sat in window.
Shame one of the windows doesn’t open as frame needs repair.
Sadly we had a big problem with our booking, and despite our request’s (12 weeks in advance) Sykes would not even consider swapping weeks for another week (which was still available), but their answer was “you are contracted to pay for the week you have booked” so just be aware once booked you can’t change….
For this reason we won’t use Sykes again as it was most frustrating and spoilt the break. It’s a great Shame 3 Dart View is only bookable through Sykes…
But if you book this flat you will have a lovely time I’m sure the car park (which you are given a parking pass for) is just a few mins walk away.

As we understand it you wanted to transfer your booking to a different property. Unfortunately as you booked 3 Dartview, Sykes could not change your booking to a different property, if you had requested a change of dates in the same property, we could have accommodated this. Apologies for any misunderstanding, we thank you for your very kind comments and we are sorry that we won’t have the opportunity to welcome you back to 3 Dartview in the future.
