    “Beautiful cottage perfect location.”

    Everything you need! So cozy and welcoming! I think the advert should mention parking is a issue. House has room for one small car. We got a parking ticket while parking outside. Overall would 100% return!

The property

Gooder House is a tastefully furnished and well presented pet-friendly property providing comfortable accommodation over three floors.

Situated in Above Town and enjoying pleasant river and sea glimpses from the second floor sitting room.

From the ground floor entrance, doors lead off into a twin bedroom and the garage - stairs lead up to the first and second floor accommodation.

The second floor attic sitting room is furnished with two large comfortable sofas, armchairs, coffee table, TV and DVD player and a feature electric ‘wood’ stove.

Dormer windows and a Juliet ‘Velux’ balcony offer lovely River Dart glimpses.

The open plan kitchen/dining room (on the first floor) features a modern fully equipped kitchen with built-in appliances and a large wooden table and chairs to seat six.

Bi-folding doors lead out to the rear terrace with outdoor dining table and chairs. There are three bedrooms in total, the en suite master bedroom has a super-King size bed (which can be made into two single beds on request), flat screen TV with En suite walk-in shower room, wash-hand basin, w.c., heated towel rail.

Bedroom two has a double bed.

Bedroom three has two single beds with en suite wet room, w.c.

and basin.

There is also a family bathroom and separate shower room. Picturesque Dartmouth’s award winning restaurants, quaint cobbled streets and boutique shops are a 5-10 minute walk away, whilst the stunning Start Bay coastline and Blackpool Sands is just a 10 minute drive away.

Dartmouth lies on the banks of the beautiful River Dart estuary in the popular and picturesque South Hams area of South Devon. Located within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to the coast, Dartmouth is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Devon. It offers a stunning waterfront, ancient narrow streets lined with boutique shops, restaurants and art galleries plus many local events such as the annual Dart Music Festival and the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta, along with the Dartmouth Food Festival held every October. There are many interesting cycling and walking routes around Dartmouth, including the South West Coast Path, the Dart Valley Trail and plenty of quiet country lanes. A trip on the Dartmouth Steam Railway through picturesque countryside to Paignton is a must, and so is a boat trip across to Kingswear and on to Brixham, a pretty little harbour town. For those seeking some beach activities, there is a wide choice in the South Hams area such as Blue Flag Award winner Blackpool Sands, and Slapton Sands, both extremely popular and just a stone's throw from Dartmouth.
