After a long day of sightseeing, come back to the property and relax in the sitting room, where you can watch your favourite shows on the Smart TV while the wood-burning stove warms the room.
Snuggle up with a good book in the snug which can be found at the back of the house and overlooks a fenced-in courtyard with bistro style furniture for relaxing in the sun.
Toward the end of the evening, gather the family in the well-appointed kitchen/dining room for a satisfying meal.
Follow the stairs up to the first-floor bathroom, which features a freestanding bath with a shower over, ideal for soaking or freshening up.
There are two spacious super-king bedrooms on this floor, each with a TV and plenty of storage space for your belongings.
On the second floor, the third and fourth bedrooms are both furnished with TVs and en-suite shower rooms.
Located on one of Dartmouth's many cobbled streets, Grants cottage is just a short walk from a variety of shops and restaurants.
There is a stylish bar just a stone’s throw away from the house called The Sail Loft where you can indulge in evening drinks within this historical iconic building.
Blackpool Sands, National Trust – Coleton Fishacre, Dartmouth Castle, National Trust – Greenway, and Bayard's Cove Fort are all located near or in the town.
You could also rent a boat from Dartmouth Boat Hire and spend the day exploring the Dart River.
Additionally, Rockfish and Bayards Cove Inn are just two of the town's many restaurants and bars.
Walking through Dartmoor National Park with your dog will allow you to take in the breath-taking views of Devon while wandering the park's diverse array of walks and trails.

On arrival we were disappointed as the courtyard was very dirty with bird poo on chairs and table.
We’d got tea and a cake to sit there. We found broken cleats for the windows and our shower doors didnt close together. The issues were corrected the next day, which was impressive. The property was so well placed, the beds were wonderfully comfortable. Could do with new plates which look tatty as they are all scratched. It needs to be made clear that the one parking place isn’t at the property and is only a voucher for park and ride. The property is great for families but not for older people with arthritis due to shape of the stairs. We enjoyed our stay and would return again except for the stairs and lack of downstairs loo!
My family had a very enjoyable holiday and the property is very central.
Just one hitch with a water leak but the lady from your local office provided a solution with absolutly no fuss. Many thanks to her.
Great property in a central location in Dartmouth.
The house was clean and tidy and well equipped. However the courtyard was a complete mess and needs some TLC. It would have been nice to sit out in the courtyard but this was not possible due to the dirt and mess. What a shame.
