    “What a lovely place to stay.”

    Very close to everything. The view from the lounge was lovely. Beds were comfortable and it was very quiet at night. Would recommend it.

The property

Set in a quiet location close to the heart of Salcombe, 2 Churchill House is a modern two-storey apartment that offers stunning views of the Salcombe estuary.

The property is accessed via a shared external stone staircase from the private allocated parking area.

The front door opens in to a hallway where all doors lead to the bedrooms and bathrooms.

Four bedrooms in total: The master bedroom has a King-size bed, wardrobe and en suite with power shower.

The second double also has a King-size bed and en suite with a bath.

Bedroom three offers two single beds.

The fourth bedroom offers a double bed.

On this floor there is a separate cloakroom with w.c and wash hand basin and a further additional shower room with power shower and wash hand basin.

The owners have refurbished the bathroom, shower room, en-suites and the separate cloakroom (2023).

Stairs lead to the second floor where the open plan kitchen/lounge/dining room provides a wonderful light and sunny space for socialising.

The modern kitchen is fitted with a range of units, granite worktops, hob and oven, microwave, two fridges, wine cooler and dishwasher.

The dining area has a large table for eight guests, whilst the lounge has two large sofas, additional seating and widescreen TV.

Bi- folding doors lead out to a narrow balcony for guests to enjoy the stunning views.

From this fantastic location, enjoy Salcombe’s picturesque waterfront, sandy beaches, popular restaurants and boutique shops.

About the location

SALCOMBE

Kingsbridge 7 miles; Dartmouth 21 miles; Plymouth 24 miles; Paignton 26 miles.

Salcombe is a popular destination for walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea and was once a major port. There are two pretty beaches within a short distance, North Sands and South Sands and further on is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe you must take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking, including the South West Coast path.

The master bedroom has a King-size bed that can be split to create two 2'6" single beds. This must be requested at the time of booking.

Bedroom three has two single beds - these can be linked to create a super-King size bed. This must be requested at the time of booking.

Property will not accommodate Hen/Stag parties.
