The property

2 Hamstone Court is a beautifully presented apartment situated just a 5-10 minute walk away from Salcombe’s famous waterfront, beaches, restaurants and boutique shops.

From the private balcony, guests can enjoy the magnificent uninterrupted views across to the sandy beaches of East Portlemouth. From the driveway, access to the apartment is up approximately 10 steps through a communal hallway.

The front door leads into a large central hallway, from which most rooms are accessed.

There is a well-equipped kitchen and a separate utility room with a washing machine, tumble drier, sink and additional fridge.

There is a Nespresso coffee machine provided (guests should bring their own capsules).

From the kitchen, is a good-sized lounge/dining room, with large comfortable sofas, occasional furniture and an oak dining table with seating for eight guests.

Sliding patio doors lead out on to the private balcony with a large table for al fresco dining, boasting stunning estuary views.

There are three bedrooms in total, a large master bedroom with super-King size bed, en suite with a large walk in shower, w.c and wash hand basin.

This bedroom also includes a set of bunk beds suitable for children.

The second bedroom also has a super King-size bed and benefits from doors opening out on to the balcony, you may consider this room the master bedroom as it benefits from the marvellous estuary views.

Bedroom three has twin beds with bedside units and a fitted wardrobe.

In addition to the en suite bathroom is a shower room with power shower, wash-hand basin and w.c and a family bathroom with corner bath, wash hand basin and w.c.

Allocated parking is provided for two cars.

Kingsbridge 7 miles; Dartmouth 21 miles; Plymouth 24 miles; Paignton 26 miles.

Salcombe is a popular destination for walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea and was once a major port. There are two pretty beaches within a short distance, North Sands and South Sands and further on is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe you must take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking, including the South West Coast path.
