Thank you so much for your positive feedback Regarding a washing machine, although the plumbing is already in place we feel that the cupboard space is more useful for hanging coats etc than a washing machine, but regarding a small freezer space, once we get the summer season out of the way we will most likely replace the existing fridge with a small fridge/freezer. Sorry for the delay in responding, we’re very disappointed that your arrival wasn’t as it should have been and we’ve never had this happen before whereby the bed wasn’t made, regarding the kettle floating on water in the tray, not sure what happened there, we can only assume that the cleaner didn’t notice it, however to make sure that there wasn’t an issue with the kettle, it has been replaced with a new one. We don’t know why you were told that there wasn’t a fan. Regarding no toilet paper, very unusual, can we please ask did you gain access to the apartment before the arrival time of 3pm? as if you did this would explain the missing toilet paper and the water on the tray and the bed not being made. We will investigate into your comments with the letting agents. There is a fridge but no freezer section, we intend to put a new fridge with freezer section in once the summer bookings ease off. Thank you for your feedback and we’re sorry that you discovered on your arrival that although Sykes website allowed you to book 3 adults it is as it says in the details only suitable for 2 Adults and 1 small child, the reason for this is because of the small bedroom. Yes, the carpark space is a little tight but it works especially if you reverse into it, having a carpark space in Salcombe is quite a bonus. The WiFi has been upgraded and extra boosters also installed to help with the signal. Many thanks. Louise and Derek

Thank you for your feedback Mrs Nevin, which we always welcome and try to act upon. We are sorry you feel your privacy was compromised and this is something we are looking into with Sykes as you should have been given time and space to exit by 10am, to then allow our cleaners to turnover our apartment for our next guests by 3pm. This has never been a problem in the past. Regarding your departure, I can categorically state we as owners or caretakers do not live downstairs. The cleaners are employed by Sykes and it is fully managed by them. It is likely that the cleaner parked below to avoid using a space that is needed, especially at this time of year. Could you please let us know what time you were exiting so as to avoid this happening to our future guests. The cleaners are not supposed to enter the apartment before 10 maintenance and clean ups. I apologise regarding the toilet tissue as this is inadequate and we have acted on this. The coffee machine is for our guests to use, we do not supply the pods and must have been one a previous guest left behind. We supply a small welcome pack for your arrival which we hope you enjoyed.
