The property

5 Island Street is a three-storey terrace house located in a central position, close to the bustling town of Salcombe.

From the entrance, the property opens in to a hallway from which all the rooms on the ground floor are accessed.

There is a small sitting room with a double sofa and 3’stacker bed that can be available on request.

The fully fitted kitchen is situated at the rear of the property, with a full range of appliances and a dining table and chairs.

Two bedrooms on the second floor; a master bedroom with double bed and en suite bathroom comprising of a bath, shower (over) w.c and wash-hand basin.

The second bedroom is a twin room with two 3ft beds.

In addition to the en suite is a family bathroom with bath, shower (over) w.c and wash-hand basin.

On the third floor is the lounge, with sofas, chairs and occasional furniture.

Double doors open onto a tiled balcony with table and chairs.

Outside is a small yard giving access to the lane behind.

Ideal for a coastal break, this property is within quick and easy reach of the picturesque harbour town of Salcombe, the sandy beaches at East Portlemouth, North Sands and South Sands, and the South West Coast Path.

Salcombe is a popular destination for walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea and was once a major port. There are two pretty beaches within a short distance, North Sands and South Sands and further on is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe you must take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking, including the South West Coast path.
