    Only drawback is kitchen on ground floor and lounge on the top floor - don't forget to take everything up with you. Views are great though. Has everything you need and central for the wander into town.

The property

8 Church Street is an attractive and well-equipped semi-detached cottage, providing comfortable holiday accommodation arranged over three levels.

The property is superbly located just two minutes’ walk from Salcombe’s pretty waterfront and harbour, shops, restaurants, cafes and the passenger ferry running to unspoilt sandy beaches. The accommodation is arranged over three levels.

The ground floor kitchen/dining room is fitted with modern appliances and a good-sized dining table and chairs.

The lounge is found on the second floor and offers far reaching views across Salcombe Estuary.

There are three bedrooms, one furnished with a King-size bed, the second with a double bed and the third with full-size bunk beds.

Servicing the bedrooms is a bathroom and a second shower room.

Externally is a small courtyard with table, chairs and a bench, and a gate leading into Church Street.

A parking pass is provided for the long-stay car park (5-10 minutes’ walk away). This property accepts one small well behaved dog (not permitted in bedrooms).

Baby friendly facilities are available including a travel cot, high chair, booster seat and plastic cups, plates and bowls, ideal for a coastal family break.

Salcombe is a popular destination for walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea and was once a major port. There are two pretty beaches within a short distance, North Sands and South Sands and further on is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe you must take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking, including the South West Coast path.

One small dog will be accepted.
