    Great location with parking being a bonus had all the facilities we needed and overall the property deliver the good stay Points to note, the property does need some updating such as cracked work surfaces in the kitchen, the upstairs bedroom door does not close due to the single bed and staying in January it was noticeably cold on the upper floor

Lower Fernlea is a spacious apartment with accommodation over two floors of a period town house, with off road parking for one car.

Situated on the lower end of Devon Road within easy access of Courtenay Park, Salcombe town centre and its famous waterfront.

Below the property there is off road parking space for one car, where a flight of steep steps leads up to the ground floor entrance into a tiled open plan living area.

Large kitchen, lounge and dining area has a stone fireplace, two comfortable sofas, dining table with chairs, flatscreen Smart TV with Freeview and DVD and CD/MP3 player.

Contemporary kitchen has fitted units, granite worktops, electric oven and 4 ring halogen hob, fridge with freezer compartment, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine, dishwasher and washer/dryer.

Ground floor en suite master bedroom has King-size bed, built-in wardrobe, New England style chest of drawers and French doors that lead out to a small decked area.

En suite shower room has a power shower, w.c, wash-hand basin, heated towel rail and shaver point.

First floor twin bedroom has two 2’6” beds and chest of drawers.

Travel cot and highchair provided.

Family bathroom has bath with shower (over), w.c, wash-hand basin, and shaver point.

Outside is a private patio with occasional furniture.

SALCOMBE

Kingsbridge 7 miles; Dartmouth 21 miles; Plymouth 24 miles; Paignton 26 miles.

Salcombe is a popular destination for walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea and was once a major port. There are two pretty beaches within a short distance, North Sands and South Sands and further on is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe you must take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking, including the South West Coast path.
