    “Great property.”

Our guests were impressed with the size of the rooms and each one having an ensuite. Also having a boot room was a bonus for all the boots and coats. Parking was good for four cars. Looking forward to the council installing a ski lift from the harbour......

The three-storey accommodation offers five good-sized bedrooms, sleeping up to 10 guests. Situated on Raleigh Road, just a 10-15 minute downhill walk into the popular harbour town of Salcombe, this lovely detached house is within easy reach of boutique shops, traditional pubs, sandy beaches, local restaurants and the South West Coast Path.

Conveniently, within a 5-minute walk, is a local shop/post office for purchasing provisions for your stay.

The famous sailing town of Salcombe is situated in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, offering wonderful views of South Devon’s dramatic coastline.

Make the most of Salcombe’s picturesque estuary by trying sailing or water sports as a family, or simply relax on one of several nearby beaches, including East Portlemouth, South Sands and North Sands, where you can indulge in delicious seafood at the Winking Prawn beachside café.

From the driveway, a level entrance hallway leads into the open-plan kitchen, dining and living area, as well as a twin bedroom and contemporary shower room to the right.

Stairs lead down to the lower level floor and up to the first floor.

The beautiful, coastal themed open-plan room hosts seaside features, such as artwork from local artist John Aspen, that bring an abundance of the charming qualities of the harbour town of Salcombe into the property.

From this spacious and comfortable room, enjoy views out over the garden and terrace, towards Dartmoor and down to the estuary at Batson Creek.

The tastefully furnished living area is fitted with a TV, three-seater sofa, two-seater sofa and three armchairs, offering ample seating for a large group.

The contemporary kitchen is equipped with NEFF appliances, including two integrated oven/grills, a dishwasher (with a second in the garage) and a large Fisher & Paykel integrated fridge/freezer with ice machine (additional fridge in the garage).

The dining area has a large table and chairs to seat ten guests comfortably.

Two sets of double doors lead to a large balcony with stairs down to the terrace and garden. Five bedrooms in total.

On the first floor is a fabulous master suite, with a super-King size bed.

This spacious room offers ample storage drawers, a dressing table with TV and a full-length mirror.

An archway leads through to a dressing area with fitted wardrobes and an additional single bed.

The master bedroom offers wide-ranging views over the town and towards neighbouring fields, farmland, the Kingsbridge/Salcombe Estuary and Dartmoor beyond.

The en suite bathroom has a shower, bath, w.c., wash-hand basin and heated towel rail.

On the ground floor is a twin bedroom with two single beds, bedside units and lamps, a wardrobe and chair.

On the lower level there are two further bedrooms, the first of which is an attractive bunk bed room with a chest of drawers plus additional storage drawers under the bed, a small sofa, bean bag, TV and DVD player, ideal for entertaining children.

The second has two single beds, bedside units and lamps, and a chest of drawers.

Both lower floor bedrooms offer views over the garden.

At first floor level is an en suite double bedroom, furnished with bedside tables, drawers, Veltech TV and wardrobe - the en suite has a bath, w.c and wash-hand basin.

In addition to the two en suite bathrooms (above) is a shower room on the ground floor level next to the twin bedroom, with rain head shower, w.c., wash-hand basin and heated towel rail.

On the lower level is a family shower room with shower, w.c.

and wash-hand basin. Ideal for families, the enclosed rear garden features a large lawned area with a trampoline, plus a furnished terrace with a large table and chairs and a Weber coal barbecue, perfect for al fresco dining in the evening sunshine.

The garden can be accessed via the side of the house, or from stairs down from the kitchen/living area.
