    “Perfect location with good parking.”

    The house has a homely feel to it. Have stayed at St Leonards twice now, the garden has improved since last year so it is nice to sit out in and enjoy the lovely weather. Would definitely stay threw again

The property

St Leonards is located on Shadycombe Road within a short walk of Salcombe’s renowned waterfront, shops and restaurants.

This property sleeps four and is the perfect base for couples and small families wanting to explore the town, its sandy beaches and the catch the passenger ferry to the beaches of East Portlemouth and Millbay.

With a toasty fireplace, ample seating, television with integrated DVD player and an iPod docking station, the sitting room is the perfect place to unwind in comfort.

The bright open-plan kitchen/dining room has a range of modern appliances, a round six-person dining table, and a pair of French doors, which lead out to the rear terrace.

The master bedroom has a super-King size bed, whilst the second bedroom is a twin room.

The family bathroom is on the first floor.

On the second floor is a snug / playroom designed for children whilst at the rear of the house is an enclosed garden with outdoor furniture for al fresco summer entertaining.

There is allocated off-road parking for one car and wi-fi is available.

Kingsbridge 7 miles; Dartmouth 21 miles; Plymouth 24 miles; Paignton 26 miles.

Salcombe is a popular destination for walkers and families looking for a holiday by the sea and was once a major port. There are two pretty beaches within a short distance, North Sands and South Sands and further on is the National Trust property Overbeck’s where you can wander through the subtropical gardens. Why not have a more adventurous day and try out the watersports available on the estuary including surfing, kayaking or a more leisurely boat trip? Whilst staying in Salcombe you must take advantage of the locally sourced seafood which is served in many of the restaurants, pubs, cafés and delicatessens. The southern tip of Devon provides some spectacular scenery and picturesque vistas with a number of sandy beaches, lovely villages with thatched cottages and some fantastic opportunities for walking, including the South West Coast path.
