“The view from the Penthouse is wonderful.”

The view inside not so good. The communal hallway is awful, seriously peeling paint, dirty, looks as if not cleaned for weeks. The bed in the back bedroom, mattress well past it’s use by date, you can feel metal springs in your back. Superficial cleaning only, certainly not deep cleaned re Covid as owner states. A piece of broken glass found on front bedroom carpet. No dishwasher tablets or bottle opener Property is apparently owner managed, so Coast and Country not in charge of cleaning, ...

Seek out three spectacular sleeping spots, each boasting a luxurious interior, its own television and awe-inspiring views over the town or estuary, taking your pick from a master super-king-size with en-suite shower room, perfect for the couple of the group, while the further two equally as elegant bedrooms consist of a king-size also with zip/link functions, and a twin with 2'6" beds and two 2'6" stora beds beneath,(by request) offering a flexible sleeping arrangement for a variety of group needs.

The first floor also hosts both the luxurious bathroom and a shower room with a spacious walk-in shower, so you can choose how best to unwind after a day of beachside fun before venturing up the stairs to spend quality time with your loved ones in the wondrous open-plan living space.

Also home to a handy utility, the second floor is where you can find all the essentials for a relaxing self-catered stay; open up the balcony doors and take a seat outside with a good book in hand, soaking in your marvellous scenery as the barbecue sizzles away, or for more formal dining, gather around the table together with a family-favourite meal, the kitchen hosting every utensil and appliance you could need!

End the evening snuggled up on the plush seating arrangement in front of the TV, before catching your rest ahead of a day of fun-filled activities.

The town of Salcombe hosts a range of family-friendly amenities at any time of the year; with a plethora of eateries including cafés, pubs and restaurants to take your pick from, as well as both high street and independent stores to while away the hours in finding the perfect souvenir, there's plenty to do here, or for those feeling more adventurous, be sure to try your hand at surfing or kayaking on the estuary, with crabbing also making the perfect family activity.

Enjoy a more leisurely trip on the waters via a boat ride, or take to the waters with a swim on one of two wonderful beaches in the area; North Sands and South Sands, both offering a lovely spot to soak up the sun and create everlasting memories with your loved ones.

There are plenty of fantastic attractions within easy reach too, with the Salcombe Maritime Museum making an educational trip to learn more about the past port history of the town, or take a trip to the National Trust's Overbeck with its stunning subtropical gardens.

Explore the beauty of the South West Coast Path by either foot or bike, or venture out to see what the port city of Plymouth has to offer; home to the National Marine Aquarium, Theatre Royal Plymouth, rich maritime heritage and a historic Barbican district, there's sure to be something here for everyone, well-worth the visit!
