    “I called Sykes on arrival as the property wasn't as described, there was a picture of the sea which looked like it was taken from the apartment but it was actually taken from a different apartment - really disappointing as we booked this apartment specifically for a sea view.”

    I was told the lady would call me back but didn't receive a call back with a resolution.

    I was told the lady would call me back but didn't receive a call back with a resolution. The hot water also went off on after the second day and we had to have cold showers on the Monday and Tuesday. Not great after a January swim in the sea! Apart from this, the apartment was terrific.

Tucked away on the imposing cliff tops of the South Devon Coast, on the outskirts of Thurlestone village, you will find 10 Ocean's Edge.

Renovated to a high standard, this stylish first-floor apartment is sure to impress with an abundance of breath-taking walking trails and exciting attractions to enjoy right from your doorstep.

A second door leads you back into a warm and inviting king-size bedroom, complete with its very own en-suite shower where you can take your time to get ready for an action-packed adventure down by the seaside.

Just a few steps away, a second king-size bedroom with an extensive selection of books can be found served by a smart family bathroom with both a spacious tub and overhead shower.

The shared pool is to the rear of the property and enjoys views directly to the beach and the sea.

When you can just about tear yourself away from this arresting abode, you can stroll a mere 100m to the beach at South Milton Sands, also you can explore the area with a breath-taking hike along the magnificent South West Coast Path which passes the front of the property stopping off at sights such as South Milton Sands with it's iconic Thurlestone Rock.

Enjoy an afternoon of Golf at the beautiful Thurlestone Golf Club, or head to the neighbouring town of Salcombe to discover the soft yellow shores of Salcombe North Sands, the Salcombe Maritime Museum and the remains of Fort Charles.

A gentle stroll away, the exotic gardens of Overbeck's, now owned by the National Trust, are well-worth a visit, whilst the Gothic Architecture of Start Point Lighthouse sits just a pleasant drive away.

There's plenty of fun to be had at Dartmoor Zoo and Woodlands Family Theme Park, whilst the historical market town of Kingsbridge offers a splendid afternoon with artisan shops and eateries.

Stop off for dinner and drinks at the famous Beach House, superb for seafood al fresco, on return to the property, or pick up some fresh ingredients from the supermarket ahead of a relaxing evening indoors.

The picturesque village of Thurlestone is popular with both beach-goers and watersports enthusiasts, with the beautiful sandy beaches of Thurlestone and South Milton Sands within walking distance. Thurlestone boasts an 18-hole links golf course, a 13th century church, a traditional pub, a post office and the ‘Voyage Spa’, where visitors can enjoy spa treatments or afternoon tea. The sailing town of Salcombe is just a 10-15 minute drive away, and the fishing village of Hope Cove is a short drive away, or can be reached on foot via the South West Coast Path.

Care and supervision of children around the pool area must be taken at all times.
