The property

Situated on the edge of Thurlestone Sands, ‘Thurlestone Rock’ is a development of spacious marine apartments, all of which enjoy sweeping views towards Bigbury Bay.

Thurlestone Rock and Burgh Island provide a stunning coastal vista, whilst the adjacent coastal path offers wonderful walks.

It is the perfect spot for those in search of a luxurious coastal break. 10 Thurlestone Rock is a first floor apartment, with sweeping ocean views from both the living room and master bedroom, and outdoor terrace.

A modern, well equipped open plan living area, with doors leading to the private outdoor area.

The kitchen is fully fitted and boasts a small breakfast bar (seating two) and dining table, seating six.

The utility room is separate, and houses a washing machine, tumble dryer and sink.

The lounge area is comfortable, with a TV, video and CD player.

The master bedroom enjoys a super-King size bed, ample storage and an en suite bathroom with a walk in shower.

The second bedroom also has a super-King size bed, whilst the third bedroom has full-size bunk beds.

There is a further bathroom with shower cubicle and separate bath. Guests also have use of the communal patio area with barbeque facility and sun deck, and exclusive use of the outdoor heated swimming pool.

Duvets, pillows and bed linen are provided.

Guests are required to bring their own beach towels.

There is one allocated parking space.

Note: This property has a Good Housekeeping bond of £200.

Salcombe 7 miles; Bigbury-on-Sea 9 miles

The picturesque village of Thurlestone is popular with both beach-goers and watersports enthusiasts, with the beautiful sandy beaches of Thurlestone and South Milton Sands within walking distance. Thurlestone boasts an 18-hole links golf course, a 13th century church, a traditional pub, a post office and the ‘Voyage Spa’, where visitors can enjoy spa treatments or afternoon tea. The sailing town of Salcombe is just a 10-15 minute drive away, and the fishing village of Hope Cove is a short drive away, or can be reached on foot via the South West Coast Path.

Property suitable for 4 adults and 2 children.

The swimming pool is open from the end of May to the end of September, please contact the office for further information. If the cover is on the pool please carefully turn the handle to remove the cover. Due to Covid-19 restrictions the swimming pool may not be open during your stay.

The second double bedroom has a super-King size bed that can be split to create two singles - this must be requested at time of booking.

2 flights of steps down to building (15-20 steps); 3 flights up to number 10 (15 steps).

No trailers, boats, caravans etc.

No swimming after 9.00 PM

Barbeques not permitted on private balconies/patios.
