  • “I have already submitted a complaint as there are a list of issues with this property, and it is not as advertised.”

    General repairs are needed, for example windows don’t open, toilet lids missing, broken handles on pans, the front door has to be locked by key to keep closed, the broadband does NOT work!!

The property

Situated on the edge of Thurlestone Sands, ‘Thurlestone Rock’ is a development of spacious marine apartments, all of which enjoy sweeping views towards Bigbury Bay.

Thurlestone Rock and Burgh Island provide a stunning coastal vista, whilst the adjacent coastal path offers wonderful walks.

It is the perfect spot for those in search of a luxurious coastal break. 4 Thurlestone Rock is a spacious and comfortable, first floor apartment boasting spectacular ocean views from the living room and master bedroom.

The kitchen is well equipped (electric double oven, gas hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer) with a breakfast table seating six.

The utility room is separate, and houses a washing machine, tumble dryer and sink.

The combined dining and living room has patio doors leading onto a private balcony enjoying sweeping sea views.

Additionally, there are two three-seater sofas, an easy chair, large TV/DVD unit, and a six seater dining table.

The spacious master bedroom has a King-size bed, flat screen TV and en suite bathroom with combined bath/power shower.

The two further bedrooms are both twin rooms, with rolling country views.

The second bathroom has a bath, shower cubicle, bidet and heated towel rail.

One small, well behaved dog is permitted.

Guests benefit from shared use of the communal patio area, barbeque facility, and outdoor heated swimming pool.

There is one allocated visitor parking space.

The picturesque village of Thurlestone is popular with both beach-goers and watersports enthusiasts, with the beautiful sandy beaches of Thurlestone and South Milton Sands within walking distance. Thurlestone boasts an 18-hole links golf course, a 13th century church, a traditional pub, a post office and the ‘Voyage Spa’, where visitors can enjoy spa treatments or afternoon tea. The sailing town of Salcombe is just a 10-15 minute drive away, and the fishing village of Hope Cove is a short drive away, or can be reached on foot via the South West Coast Path.

Thurlestone Rock residents enjoy exclusive use of the private outdoor heated swimming pool which is available from late May to late September each year (subject to change). Due to Covid-19 restrictions the swimming pool may not be open during your stay.

Barbeques not permitted on private balconies/patios.
