“We have stayed at Horizon before and do like the apartment, however this time there were small things that hadn’t been done, which in the main didn’t affect us massively, but it was disappointing to see the standards slipping.”
The small kids bedroom had no light bulb or lamp and used a completely non standard fitting so couldn’t be replaced. The front door handle was coming away and needed to be tightened back on. None of the clocks in the apartment had been changed and the heating was also an hour out.
The place hadn’t been cleaned properly, we found bottle tops on the coffee tables and the dishwasher needed a good clean out. When emptying all of the bins, before leaving on Saturday, we discovered a half eaten sandwich in the master bedroom bin, which wasn’t ours.
Overall we had a great holiday, but would recommend better attention to cleaning and preparation of the apartment before guests arrive.
